Technically you CAN ship Yuan Can with Shi or still Naive snake

random scenario idea : possibly during shi's canto (or whenever you think fits best) where yuan ca finally snaps and pours out every ounce of resentment she's been carrying toward shi like why he left, why he turned his back, why he ran away. meanwhile he just. kind of stands there in horror(?) until out of nowhere she breaks down and hugs him, muttering something along the lines of "don't leave me." (methinks ?)

because despite everything, she still cherishes him deep down .

Funny thing is that this happens but it's Yuan Can confessing her resentment and pain during the years after it with distorted Shi just standing there after mauling the rest of the lcb and her, and is ready to die (via his distortion having a literal self destruct mechanic), but then she hugs his one paw as she said:

" yet, despite it all, despite you betraying my own trust and that damn day. Please.... Please don't leave me yet. Don't go. I.. I can't be walking this forsaken place without you anymore.... Not again, please... Wake up..."
