I’m trying to contain myself from the drama most of the time, but now I have to say something regarding Kanye West’s absolute trashy, disrespectful and disgusting music video to his even more so disrespectful song “Famous”.
Taylor has not heard the song before. She has declined to even promote his song because of the language and wrong message included. Taylor has not agreed to Kanye publishing “Famous”.
I don’t care if you support Kanye or like his music, cause what he has done here is just completely disrespectful and unacceptable. Not only to Taylor, but also to the other celebrities pictured in the video.
What he has done in his song is claiming that Taylor owes him sex because he apparently “made that bitch famous”. Besides that being untrue, he promotes the message of a woman owing a man sex because of something he did.
Let me tell you: A person never, ever, ever owes someone sex. That is taking advantage of someone. That is rape, even.
As if the song itself wasn’t enough, he decided to publish a video in which he is sexualizing Taylor. He sexualized her without her acknowledge or agreement. I suppose the other celebrities included in the video (minus his family maybe) also didn’t know about any of this.
That is abuse.
And now I’m asking myself: How can people possibly tolerate such unacceptable and disgusting behaviour? How can people say “let him do what he wants”, “it’s his music video” or the worst and most ridiculous of all “it is a joke”?
How can you take that as a JOKE?
Is it funny to sexualize someone against their will? Taylor has clearly said no to the song, no to him calling her out, no to promote his single, and she is absolutely 1989% NOT OKAY with the way Kanye has portrait and humiliated her in this video.
Kanye displayed and exposed Taylor’s body in a way she’d never want or even do herself. He did that even though she has told him NO. He is disregarding her rights.
This is not art, this is abuse.
kim has said that they have a video/audio recording of taylor agreeing (due to kanye filming his album process) and this piece of news coincidentally came out around the time those pap pics of taylor and tom came out.
taylor’s PR team are paid big $$ to do their job and it’s pretty clear to me that she’s playing everybody but of course you’ll believe her over kanye regardless of the facts
and I will say facts because Taylor threatened to sue if kanye released those recordings. why go that far if there’s nothing to hide?
