If I'm going to make my Drifter Natah's Champion/Kisser, I thought of mixing Radiant Lotus with Eidolon Natah, so she has this more formal and "armored" look when performing as the leader (Radiant Lotus) and a more personal/intimate look for private moments: less armor and more "skin", scars proudly worn out in the open, tattered skirt unafraid of decay and the passage of time, muted colors and blue energy for the living and repaired rather than edolon's teal, dying energy.

Less obstructed neck muscles, visible collarbones and shoulder blades to shamelessly signal women with homosexual tendencies.

I forgot that having a rarepair in a big fandom means there's actually dozens of people who are looking for fanworks instead of like, maybe 10-15 regulars in smaller fandoms

I was about to post two complaints about certain franchises

one about how some/lots of fans love to project/read and celebrate queer subtext on a bunch of characters and grant brownie points to Company when they haven't earned them and so far included only one canonical/no-question queer character (whose implementation I had a bone to pick with) and who just happens to get widely ignored in fanworks

and another about the lack of imagination or appreciation for f/f ships and specially some sort of ludicrous morality policing and people refusing to open their third eye for a dynamic that has been in there for YEARS

but then I remembered I have Zero Parades which has no queer subtext you have to project/squint to see it (it's all explicit right there in the text) and the HomosexualsTM are very problematic and nuanced and I love them all to pieces

peace and love on planet earth etc because I have Zero Parades in my life mwah

one day you just wake up to 30 dms from your mutual across the world and they're like imagine if these characters were trapped in bikini bottom and they had to fuck or die and you're like, yeah tell me more

oops I had thought of making all my future Natah/Drifter stuffs platonic/unrequited because of the whole emotional baggage with the Lotus and Operator, but her design is so yummy that I found a perfect argument for myself and it only involved picturing Natah with subtle sadistic tendencies and the Drifter some level of masochist, burying Margulis' memory imprint and kinda criticizing the Lotus' hand on guiding the Operator into mass murder so she recedes into the background, then sending the Operator away from violence and into therapy.

And some other arguments that kinda deepens the emotional distance between Drifter and Natah to put them on the same level (part of that is also, maybe, a modified design for Natah because the sentient head and shoulder pads can be very annoying to draw).

I don't care whatever Tau is going to do to the lore, I have this need for middle-aged sapphic monstergirl throuple and I just need the right daydream to hit me to throw Eleanor into the mix.

The New War damaged me beyond repair, I gotta replay it
