My boyfriend and I want to start saving money for our travels, but I fear the unknown. What advice can you give about starting a new adventure somewhere you're not that familiar with?

JUST GO.  The adventure is in the unknown so embrace it the best you can.  Fear is discomfort and personal growth will be your resulting adaptation.  The anxiety of the unknown will dissipate but another fear will soon take it’s place - This never really goes away it just manifests in different forms throughout our lives and we become weathered against it’s relentless nature.  Just go, if you stay home you’ll fear school or your new job - wouldn’t you rather hit the road and be fearful of the unknown beauty ahead.
