To All My Friends, RPers I've Interacted With and Followers

I know this post may come as a surprise as a lot of you. Unfortunately, no this does not mean I am reappearing from my random and unannounced hiatus. I am coming here to apologize - apologize for not saying something the moment I decided to disappear again, apologize for the dropped or abandoned plots and also to apologize for not coming back to you all. Rather, I won't really be RPing here on this account anymore, at least not for the time being; the motivation was gone a long time ago and I just can't get back into what it means to be like "Tim". That being said, I am roleplaying again, and I felt I owed it to my followers and fellow RPers here to let them know. I won't be closing this blog. I would regret it too much, plus I have no reason to. I may come back here some day but I don't want to make any more false promises.

Marcus To draws the batfam

Because Marcus To hasn’t drawn Jason “officially” i.e. in a comic series. Not counting the fab commissions.

He did draw Steph in Red Robin, even if the graphic used here wasn’t from there.

One who would be used to pain, to grief, to downright suffering no longer was so stung by it when misery came knocking once again. Not to the same extent, never the same.  But still, it hurt. The little bird was fragile, already cracked, perhaps even broken. Usually, it was assumed that the damage could not be mended, that she might of as well be dropped like an old, useless doll, and perhaps it was true. But it at least could be kept in check, right?.. Maybe filling in the cracks, right?  Living in that childish hope was all that she had, really. Once again, Gloomy was all but the outlet for mental torment her softer side could not handle. Absorbing the turmoil into herself, making herself the manifestation of pain and anger, she lay dormant in their minds, quiet and undisturbed because she could handle it. Because she learned to.  Drawing the negativity away, she let stronger emotions wash over, making the girl cling to Tim as if holding on for dear life, burrowing her face into his chest in a heartbreakingly endearing manner, perhaps soaking the suit with traitorous streams of hot tears, pale shoulders hunched. And no way to tell whether those were tears of sorrow, or joy. Maybe both. She didn’t pay any mind. “Mhm?..” Taking her sweet long seconds to realise what was the question - damn it all, she missed that voice - Tira slightly leaned back to glance upwards, sheepishly biting her bottom lip. “Uhh—tore a muscle? Or two. Or three… it’s—” Owh. “—nothing.”

The way she almost seemed to speak so casually about her own injury through the tears actually kind of bothered him. His displeasure at the fact became quite apparent with the obvious frown on his face. Not that he had ever been smiling at all this whole time, but instead the feeling of displeasure at her state and at himself worsened.

As she leaned her head up to look at him, he was finally able to bring a hand up to wipe below her eyes, something he had obviously been wanting to do for a while. He wanted to be able to stop the tears, whether they were good or bad. It was still damage that he had caused. 

With her response, he knew it wasn't the time to continue into self hate. Not right now. Right now it was pointless, and Tira was his main focus. 

"It's not nothing." For a second he paused. He couldn't reprimand her right now but still... taking a moment to find the right words, he then continued with a softer tone. "I'm asking because even though I was gone, I still care. Of course I still care. Don't you worry about that. I wouldn't abandon you and don't think that for a second no matter how long I was gone. I'm safe. I'm not hurt. But I'm asking what happened to you. It doesn't look like just a pulled muscle."
