AS  LONG  as  she  is  with  grog,  pike  feels  safe.  he  always  taken  care  of  her  &  pike  has  known  no  gentler  hands  or  a  funnier  goliath  then  he.

USUALLY,  PIKE  likes  to  think  of  herself  as  gentle.  kind,  even.  or  at  least  she  tries  to  be.  it’s  ———  hard,  sometimes.  to  be  a  healer.  to  have  to  stay  behind.  to  build  roots  &  wrap  injuries  with  bandages  while  her  family  is  off  saving  the  world.  pike  can  only  save  their  lives,  but  she  would  prefer  to  be  there  with  them.  to  prevent  them  from  crossing  the  threshold  at  all.

SHE  REMEMBERS  THIS  :  it’s  cold.  it’s  cold  &  quiet  &  she  is  alone.

basic  cr2  verse  is  that  pike  is  a  very  well-known  figure  &  her  name  is  making  its  way  across  the  ocean.  she’s  a  living  legend.  a  paragon  of  clerics  !  she  is  who  revived  an  entire  religion  from  the  brink  of  extinction  !   the  champion  of  the  everlight.  she’s  still  adventuring  &  taking  names  !  but  she  has  settled  down  in  vasselheim  more  or  less  &  has  grown  older.  more  scars,  more  wrinkles  &  weather.  she  still  wears  the  ogre  gauntlets  with  pride  &  swings  around  her  mace.  she’s  revered  as  a  redeemer.  a  good  person.  some  fear  her,  having  felt  her  anger.  others  simply  know  her  as  a  gnome.  simple  &  little  flustered  with  her  words,  but  she  means  well.  she’s  kind.
