head trauma [open]
It was one of the problems with outward swinging doors. There was always the chance someone might not have been paying attention, which would lead to a rather unfavorable situation. Whether the shot had been particularly damaging or not was uknown. The perpetrator didn’t want to stick around and find out. An irate man who’d been treated to ‘lackluster service’ was to blame and he wasn’t in the mood for apologies. He gave one look over the nurse and kept on walking, offering her nothing but a scoff. A mistake on his part, likely. And he was about to make another.
His chest collided into something. Or rather, someone. Looking up just a bit he found that what had been impeding his path was a rather tall woman dressed in some sort of military uniform. Thankfully the swastika had not been adorned this time around, mostly because it made people act like fucking idiots around her. Unfortunately for them the fear factor seemed to fade away slightly, just enough for this irritated man to look up at her and snarl.
‘Watch where you’re going you fucking freak! I swear, every single one of you..’
She could have just let it be. He obviously wasn’t worth her time.. Aaah fuck it, she needed something to mess up anyway. She grasped the top of his bald head as he began to walk away and flung him right back into the cafe, destroying the door as he went in. Hmm.. Guess they weren’t going to let her in now.
“Tch..”
The least the guy at the door could have done was act concerned. Valentine would have overlooked the impromptu hit if he had. But no, he had to be the type to not give two shits. He probably thought she deserved it as he walked away. By the look of things, his day wasn't going well at all. Ah, if only Val had a scalpel or two with her. She'd make sure that idiot didn't make the same mistake twice.
After making sure no real damage had been done, the nurse was met with another surprise. She turned to get the man's attention, only to find him staring up at a threatening-looking woman. He traded words with her before going on his way. It took about two seconds for him to feel this other woman's anger. As his flying body took the door down, the people on the street became startled, looking over to the source of the disturbance. Valentine herself was intrigued. This military woman reminded her of Parasoul. Somewhat. The nurse turned to face the military woman, a slight smile behind her surgical mask. While she wasn't entirely hostile towards her, the last thing Val wanted was to get close to someone with that kind of strength. Especially without her weapons.
"Impressive. I'd have thrown him into a wall if I were you, but I'm sure he got the message."
"You'll have to forgive me for inciting this entire scene. It really wasn't part of the procedure."
