The way they focus on Anthony being so obsessed with time. Him and his watch. Candles burning low.
Bridgerton fans who haven’t read the books: Daphne and Simon are such an enemies to lovers trope
Anthony Bridgerton: Hold my brandy!
anthony: im not gonna love anyone
me:
they changed colin's entire personality but couldn't remove that scene
i feel like everyone did bad shit in bridgerton except lady danbury and benedict they never did anything wrong ever in their life
finished bridgerton several hours ago don't know what to think so many thoughts don't know what to say about penelope's situation im conflicted

Chess isn’t always competitive. Chess can also be… beautiful. It was the board I noticed first. It’s an entire world of just 64 squares. I feel safe in it. I can control it. I can dominate it. And it’s predictable, so if I get hurt, I only have myself to blame. Anya Taylor-Joy as Beth Harmon in THE QUEEN’S GAMBIT (2020)
I wish media companies didn't have their Austen purist writers cover Bridgerton. Because they don't understand the genre of books, and they don't get that Bridgerton isn't even trying to be like an Austen adaptation. Bridgerton is trying to be the exact opposite of repressed, conservative, traditional adaptations.
Also any review that has the word "trash" anywhere in the review when referring to romance novels/the show/genre is an immediate disqualification for me, and that writer's opinion no longer counts, good or bad.
I’ve been reading some bridgerton reviews cause I don’t have anything to do and I’m so excited for this show but I need to get some things of my chest,
I’m gonna put this bellow cause spoilers
read in 2020 📖 Chasing Cassandra by Lisa Kleypas
“Perfection is impossible. Most mathematical truths can’t be proved. The vast majority of mathematical relations can’t be known. But you … standing here in your bare feet in that dress … you’re perfect.”
"I can’t say anything more about Lady Whistledown’s identity other than it does come to light by season’s end, and that I greatly enjoyed the reveal even though I saw it coming from a mile away."
yep they're going to reveal this season

violet, you and i - we lie to each other as much as we lie to the rest of the world.
