I am crowdsourcing eridians! Do you have an OC who was part of the mission to Tau Ceti? Please read this post!
I am working on a model of Erid and giving it a large number of moons. I would like to name most of them after the late eridians - both members of the Blip A crew and any eridians who otherwise contributed (primary specialist who passed away before the launch, someone from the ground crew if they died within 17 Earth years after Rocky's return) are welcome.
Lore:
After resolving the astrophage crisis, humans sent a probe to Erid with the intention of gathering research data, establishing communication, and sharing a sample of taumoeba in case Rocky and Grace didn't survive the journey.
Part of the research is astronomical data about the Erid system. In eridian languages, the moons are numbered, and Grace - working with eridian scientists on preparing a response - initially planned to translate that directly; but the idea of giving the moons human names of eridians who worked on the mission was very well received.

Want to talk Obi-Wan did not. Disappear his presence from the Force for long times did. And when asked about young Skywalker - sometimes, anger there was in Obi-Wan, the kind that simmers for long if untreated it is. Anger at self, perhaps.
"Back from a difficult mission you are. Pushing yourself too far you are, as often you do. This tendency you always had, even as a youngling. Healthy, this is not."
I spent several months recovering from violently dropping the steaming pile of excrement better known as HP and then I started writing again, even for fandoms I wasn't very deep into. Since April, I posted 12 works, all one-shots, with the total word count of 8850 words.
It turns out SW fanfiction makes up exactly half of my published works, which feels simultaneously like a lot and not enough.
I also posted one work for each of the following: Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Alien 1979, Trinity Blood, OMORI, Shin Godzilla - and one Original Work.

Whumpiest fics:

Most self-indulgent: ...I tried to pick one but it turns out they all are.
One I'm most proud of: Balance. From a technical side fo things, it's way different from things I usually write; It doesn't even have a specific PoV character.
Character I wrote most often about: Anakin Skywalker | Darth Vader (4); no others even come close.
Least cooperative character: Mon Mothma. I've watched Andor specifically to get a better understanding of her and I still don't know how to write her well.
Smoothest writing process: Through victory. Completed in one sitting!
Best change/improvement: thanks to Matthew Stover, I fell in love with second person PoV of the non-reader variety. It works wonders when used for whumpy scenes.
I was able to write often and I'm hoping to keep it up, though I don't have a specific writing goal for 2026.
