Wait I want more of the Grace and Simon as eridians. Is it like a swap au? Does that mean Simon has been waiting for Grace for 40+ years?

Eridian Grace being sent against his will and finding human Rocky and Rocky asking if Grace has a mate and him getting all sad and Rocky thinks he said something bad.

“Grace has mate. Didn’t get to say goodbye….. I heard him though as they dragged me into the ship. He was calling out to me and I was calling out to him….. He sounded so far away”

“What did he say?”

“He said ‘don’t take him away! Please you have to let me go with him!’ He sounded angry and upset.”

“How long have you been together?”

“That’s a long time.”

Grace shaking his eridian body like he’s saying no. “Not enough. Wish it was longer.”

“I understand. What’s his name?”

Rocky nods. “What does he looks like- wait that’s a stupid question-“

Okay, I definitely think I'm gonna make my pebble/Eridian Grace an eventual bloodymary thing, but I'm trying to figure out how to do it. . .

Like, the idea I had in mind for Grace reincarnating is that, after trying and failing to have pebbles, Rocky and Adrian decide to bury their more recent egg where Grace was buried (so he can watch over the egg for them while it's vulnerable even in death 🥹), and that's sorta how he becomes an Eridian.

But how would it work for Simon?? Does he just like, die in the sub and wake up in a new world, in a new body? Or should it be that he was already on Erid when he died and came back?
