Home-made fries, no oil.
Dal and rice with bok choy and pickled red bell pepper and onion.
I tried pickled brussels sprouts this morning (I pickled them a 5 days ago): Delicious.
Squash and dried shrimp... Onions, garlic, ginger, turmeric. Steamed. Eaten alone or with rice.
Steamed karela and veggies with dried shrimps over rice.
Karela (bitter melon), dried shrimps, carrots, red sweet peppers steamed with ginger, turmeric, garlic and the family's green seasoning 😉.
If you're wondering, no, it wasn't bitter, it was delicious!

Steamed marinated catfish, cabbage, carrots, onions, tomatoes. Steamed with a little bit of ginger and turmeric.
This was delicious.
I pickled vegetables for the first time. They turned out okay; could be better but, certainly not bad. I paired them with an avocado and it was tasty and satisfying, I'm happy.
