Melancholy: Digital Painting from live observation. After the passing of my sweet angel baby Naiyah, I’m finding it hard to carry on. How do we continue? Each day it’s a moment to moment process of healing. I wish and pray that time could stand still and I could return to the moment when Naiyah was still here with us in the physical. Her laugh and smile was so contagious, bringing light to everyone and everything. This view from my window gave me insight. No matter how much we want the season to stay the same, change is a constant. Time waits for no one and life carries on as much as sometimes we don’t want it to. I find peace in the innerstanding that we are infinite souls having a human experience. So many times I’ve had to contemplate the reason why I’m going through something really tough. I usually get the answer that it was for my empowerment. This seems to be a reoccurring theme for me. What helps me tremendously is setting healthy boundaries. In doing so I’ve been able to stop people pleasing and get real with myself and others. Allowing myself to receive unconditional love and heal that part of me that wants to stay protected by the ego. Does this resonate?
