I have returned! And I have been dying to share this one with you, because it is just wonderful. This is a film that was made by Soyuzmultfilm for their 50th anniversary, and was directed by Vladimir Tasarov. It takes the viewer through the history of Soviet animated film, while building up to the most heartwarming moment in any Soviet animated film. WATCH ALL FOUR PARTS. Really if you like Soviet animation (I know you do) you cannot afford to miss this film that is a enjoyable as it is informative. Юбилей (1983) 1/4 (by pashkageraskin)
Fun Fact: Josef Stalin’s second and third toes on his left foot were attached.
He also had a hobby of drawing nude men and writing funny captions under them.

Currently experiencing some technical difficulties (some sort of hard drive failure) so the page will be laying dormant for a while while this is resolved.
Thanks once again for following everyone!
One I can't find
Its called something along the lines of- "A Device of No Use" and it was made in the 70s- It looks like someone animated it in their basement using magic markers. Its also horribly, horribly violent and anti-consumerist as all get out. If any of you have any idea where to find it let me know!
I do try my best to shy away from propaganda but....Sometimes...Sometimes you find one that you must share its lunacy with the world. This has something to do with colonizing mars because of capitalists? Its really, really..... Its so damn weird. Its harshly cut from scene to scenes that use completely different types of animation. Its on the disturbing side of things. Best of luck. Interplanetary revolution (by Toadsmiles)
I found Night Of the Carrots everyone. Its not on youtube, which is usually where I find most things. There are a few others I can't find, so maybe ill look around further.
You showed me Priit Pärn, now I'm an addict.
He really is a strange and wonderful animator. He also animated what is hands down the greatest use of dark humor in a PSA-
A film by Priit Pärn. Honestly, its somehow one of his more.....Tangible films. Best youtube comment- "So the moral is never leave your wife no matter how many times the midget that lives in the stove comes and eats all the food." Kolmnurk (The Triangle, 1982) (by ThronoiTheBear)
Soviet director Vladimir Tarassov created some of the most imaginative animation that challenges convention in its concepts. An animator that really more people should know. This is heavy with dialogue and no English subtitles are available- However, the strangest parts of this stand on their own without a word spoken. A Mirror of Time (1976) (by CampMovieCamp)
Hello everyone!
Well, I started this page up after a friend encouraged the idea, and I had no real aspirations for anyone even acknowledging it. 27 followers may not really be many but, Its nice to know that there are others in the world who are fond of the strange Soviet animation that is out there- so thank all of you for following! Remember to also submit anything you find out there!
