Set between episode 262-263.

Takeo and Tao (especially Takeo) saw death as a valid option(episode 151, 237). They even said "can’t we just die already?"

So after being brought back to life by Rai... watching them feel ashamed and guilty, and then immediately asking Frankenstein to make them stronger was really painful.

Not that I can't understand why the author made that choice, but imo Takeo became meaningless character after being incorporated into the growth(purely physical) narrative.

There is a gap between the sense of relief("I'm alive") that any living being naturally feels and the burdens that come with being alive. Canon completely ignored that gap so the line “Make us stronger” felt so fucking hollow and out of place.
