Working on a #steamertrunk I've had a while...been picking at it, sanding, polishing. Noticed the old tin covering had remnants of a burgundy paint so...back to red it goes! Work in progress. Metal and wood will get a clear lacquer to avoid more degradation. Tin gets #aries #firered because I'm a big fan of bright color. I think the c.1910 muse inside is approving.
