Kurt chuckled slightly at the nicknames, before sighing. “I don’t want you to worry, Reed. It’s just,… I’m sick.”

Blinking at Kurt, Reed's face fell at the other's words. "...Sick? Like....sick, sick?" He asked softly before getting up on his toes and hugging Kurt.

Looking up at the other, Reed frowned, concerned. "What's wrong? Is there anything I can do to make it better? The Dormouse doesn't like seeing Alice sad." The Wonderland themed names hadn't been used in so long, it felt a bit odd using them again.

They both grinned, “YES! MY VOICE IS FREE!” Ethan whooped, doing a little happy dance as Evan shook his head laughing and smiling. “Well we had been up to seeing if we could find Jeff, or Smythe, anyone who we could pester really. After Dwight drew the last straw and took the last cookie we have been plotting war.”

The painter laughed at the happy-dancing that commenced the allowance to speak. "War?" Reed sighed, tilting his head. "Is this war going to involve the whole of Dalton? Like the last one?" War meant Nerf guns, and getting shot at randomly by whoever was on the opposing side. Which meant lots of falling over.

“It’s fine.” Kurt shrugged. “Sorry about yelling at you. I’m actually not always such a bitch, but I’m having a quite bad week.”

"It's fine, I understand. Everyone has off days. Or weeks." Reed smiled comfortingly at the taller male, moving to sit in the seat next to him. "I think we got off on the wrong foot. Start over?"

The two continued to glower at him, Evan mimicking trying to find a key as his eyes narrowed at the smaller boy. Ethan however was just pouting, his eyes wide as he could make them go, a sad glossy look covering the usual twinkle. Evan sighed, making over dramatic hand gestures in an attempt to put the point across that they had said they wouldn’t talk, so they wouldn’t.

Reed watched, a bit confused as to why they wouldn't talk to him. Did he annoy them too much? Biting his lip, he watched Evan's hand gestures worriedly, eyes wide and worried, before he broke out into a smile and giggled a little. "I give you permission to talk, as long you promise not to embarrass, make fun of, or harass me in any way." He said with a little nod.

“Well, I sure noticed that you’re a little clumsy.” Kurt replied in a way nicer voice than at the beginning of their meeting, grinning slightly.

Reed flushed, looking down and shrugging. "Uhm, yeah, I am." He nodded a bit, glancing at the other with a little smile. "Sorry about snagging you with that pin, really. It, uhm...I'm not very good at this."
