The Threadless jacket my friend punked out for me! She spear-headed this project and was the person to do the sewing. The finished product contains some of my own ideas and a few personal design elements that I requested. However, the credit (and many hours of dedicated work) on this spectacular piece, definitely belong to the, creative genius behind it all, the amazing dragonpixie.tumblr.com! The special elements of this jacket consist of Portal thumb holes, an inside pocket, Harry Potter symbols, Thirty Seconds to Mars symbols, Steampunk gears, patches, and some of my favorite quotes, phrases and words! Thank you Ariel Omega!! I seriously may never take this jacket off!

I am currently working on the back of my hippie retro chic jeans jacket! In this photo I am in the process of embroidering a rainbow across the back panel.  

I am starting to genuinely think I need to get myself a thimble, as my index finger is starting to feel sore from all the needle pricks.

On the plus side, however, I am exteremely happy with how this project is coming out! I am actually rather proud of the progress I have made within in the last two days. Patches are attached and the embroidery has turned out decent.  I unfortunately realized that I didn't get the chance to take a before photo of the jacket, however I will post a photo once I am finished! Can't wait for the finished product to emerge! I am extremely excited for this one!

I have to admit, I am extremely guilty of this! I can't count how many times I have done this even just within the last year. It happens way more often then it should!

I am actually surprisingly really happy with the way my storytelling charm necklace, that I made this weekend, came out. It was an easy and fun craft (and did I mention really really easy?) For those of you with craft hungry minds, out there, all I did was start with two strands of braids. I found beads and charms that I thought described who I am as a person and described my life well and then continually added them onto the strands as I braided. It was a mindless craft that ended up turning out to be a cute (and very unique) accessory that was personalized to fit my hobbies and what I love in life! I have worn it twice, since the day that I made it, and have gotten quite a lot compliments on it!

The black pocket lining turned out to be a little uneven however overall I am super proud of how it turned out, especially the Peter Pan collar! It ended up taking me 4 hours (give or take), most of the time being spent on the collar. I was worried that the two different patterns would be a little much but glad I went with it, I really like it!
