Now that ToHR has been released in English, complaints about Innes have surfaced, and while I'm in no authority to expect people to understand her character, I have to vent a bit.
Spoilers ahead.
"Innes' reason is so shallow like, you did that because of a man?? A strong woman's weakness is a fucking man, can you believe it"
God forbid a strong woman to have a man as her weakness.

have you ever felt that crazy feeling that one person makes your heart flutter and you feel like you're gonna explode so hard that the entire world will be tainted with your fluttery feelings?? And at that realization, it makes you feel sick. But you love the person so much that you'd do anything to make them happy, to make them know that they are loved, to make them safe???
because that's how it feels
Early in the game, she throws this line to Paraiba:
"She didn't forget him! No one forgets a loss like that.
And conquering sadness for another chance at happiness isn't a crime!"
Makes you think: Why is she so defensive like this? Because a similar thing happened to the person she loved.
Cassiter becomes suicidal after the death of her fiance a year ago. But she had someone else to love her.
Cassiter's case reminds her of Silver, who snaps at the loss of his wife and blames himself for his daughter's condition.
Okay. Have another line from a skit where she comforts Beryl.
"There isn't a person alive who hasn't been touched by sorrow.
But the more sorrow you know, the stronger your Spiria becomes.
I know someone who used to say that. But it's, well, it's a terrible sad story, actually."
Realizing Silver's suffering for years should convince her that she can't take it anymore. Knowing that the person she secretly loved for years is in so much pain, then finally, an opportunity appears and she can finally do something to help him.
Who cares about other people?
It only got difficult for her because she became attached to them along the way.
Innes' true weakness is her humanity. She's just a woman with a big heart and wants a peaceful life. And in the world of Tales of Hearts, that's not a problem. At all. It's Tales of Hearts for a motherfucking reason.
You know what the real problem with her character is? It's the untapped potential, especially after cutting out so much from the DS version where her character shines the brightest.
Too bad Tales isn't very stellar with the writing development.

No, because the only way for the water to touch the plastic is for it to already be overflowing.
This traps a layer of air between the plastic and the water creating a section. So when you push the air down, it’s forcing the water through the pipes.
