To my beloved MCR friends (if I ever mattered to begin with)
I briefly want to apologize for leaving suddenly but I had so much going on. However, I have something important to say and it plays a role in me leaving. Straight to the point: Negativity...lots of it. Quite recently, I saw Gerard in regards to Umbrella Academy and he looks amazing per usual. What I found disturbing was the fact that there were people fat shaming him and just being absolutely disgusting. I don’t think people realize that he’s a human, he’s almost 44yrs old and getting a bit gray is totally normal. It’s really hurtful no matter who it is. This is why I don’t even be on here anymore. There’s so many people on here who claim to be activist for body positivity, disabled, deaf etc people but they’re not, they’re just bullies. I truly would not blame Gerard for still making social media activities minimum because people are so hurtful. It really breaks my heart. He don’t deserve to be treated like that. No one does.
Here it is, we’ve got people dying of Covid-19 and yet others prefer to spend their time fat shaming, being ableists. I left here three years ago and it still looks like I made the best choice because nothing has changed. Please do better, that’s all I’m asking. Damn.
