Walking around the mansion felt like walking in uncharted territory for Aiden. He of course was one of the few who showed up a few days late due to flight complications, and as he made his way through the unfamiliar rooms he felt more and more out of place. He had sworn off mansions and marble floors for good several years before, but here he was — cooped up with a bunch of strangers. The situation wasn’t ideal, and if it wasn’t for the possibility of a life with Quin he probably would have dipped. As Aiden’s eyes glanced over the over-the-top decorations, his duffle bag still hanging lazily over his shoulder he didn’t even realize the other presence in the room until looking up from a crystal alcohol decanter. “Oh— hey. Sorry, didn’t even realize anyone else was in here.” He said hesitantly, the jet lag clouding his need for social interaction. “I’m Aiden.” He continued, figuring he should at least give the people in this house some sort of a fair chance.
“Hey there,” Regina said, giving the boy a warm smile and approaching his with her hand out. “Nice to meet you, Aiden. I’m Regina. I take it you just got here?” She observed, eyeing the dufflebag over his shoulder. “If you need any help settling in, or finding your way around this place, just let me know. I got so lost on my first day around here, it was a nightmare. Granted, I still get lost sometimes but ... not as much.”
