Welcome to America
Welcome to America, land of “free,”
Where sickness fattens shareholders with ease.
You’re told you’re fine while rotting silently;
Your pain’s denied; there’s profit in disease.
Welcome to America, know your place.
Freedom is filtered by money and skin.
Smile wrong, get raped; cross lines, get erased;
The law shrugs softly; violence still wins.
Welcome to America, work or starve.
Tents line the streets where wages go to die.
They praise your grit, then gut you to the marrow;
Six figures deep, you’re still one check from sky.
Welcome to America; eat the lie.
Your food is poison sold as cheap relief.
Four bags cost more than rent will justify;
“Just budget better”; poverty’s a belief.
Welcome to America, teach your kids
Not hope or dreams, but how to bleed in class.
We clutch our guns like God himself insists;
Dead children are the freedom tax we pass.
Welcome to America, stuffed and sick,
We gorge, then dump our waste in burning streams.
The rivers choke; the skies are flared and thick;
No fireflies; just oil-fueled bad dreams.
Welcome to America, built by ghosts
Of immigrants we praise, then hunt and cage.
We chant “great nation” loudest at the coast
While ripping families apart on stage.
They say it’s great; so great the world arrives.
So come, but know the price before you kneel.
The dream exists, but only if you survive;
Here, freedom’s real, just not for you to feel.
