“I-I’m sorry, Lucius. You know how dumb I can be.” Regulus said softly, “Can I get you something?”

Evan stood hovering over the many treats laid out for the carnival. There was everything from candied apples to baked pretzels. In one of his rather indecisive moods, which was a constant mood, his hand kept hovering from one snack to the next, never touching any but coming close a few times. Grumbling under his breath about the ordeal he was about to just give up and turn away when someone across the table from him spoke.

“The candied a-apples are really good! I’ve already had two of them even though my m-mother has forbidden it,” Regulus said with a slightly embarrassed expression. “Want me to buy one for you? I r-rarely ever use my allowance!”
