“Not every person has the right to be a parent” is a sentiment I feel is widely accepted in leftist circles, referring largely to abusive households. But this doesn’t get taken to condemn surrogacy and egg-donating industries. Like Jesus Christ why do most leftists not care about this flavor of stuff when it financially exploits women, and subjects them to unnecessary harm? All just because it means infertile women and homosexual couples can have a different way to have children to raise? What happened to “having children isn’t a guaranteed right” Of course I know it’s because of misogyny, but good grief.
man door hand hook car door is honestly still the best story i’ve ever read

in consensual sex you can stop at any time for any reason
in consexual sex if something happens that makes you feel uncomfortable or weirds you out, you can walk out of the door and get out of there without any consequences, without having to explain yourself
in consensual sex you never have to explain why something is uncomfortable or why you don’t want it done to you
in consensual sex if you even think about wanting to stop, you don’t have to think twice before saying it out loud
in consensual sex nobody should ever be telling you “you’re spoiling the mood” or “don’t be like that” when you’re unwilling
in consensual sex, nobody should ever be talking you into something you said no to
in consensual sex, nobody should be trading future favours in return for you agreeing to something you don’t want to do
in consensual sex, you should never be forced to demonstrate how much you trust your partner by letting them do whatever they want
in consensual sex you never have to shut down your instinct that something is wrong
in consensual sex, nobody should ever be doing something to you that you mentioned, implied, or explicitly stated you don’t like being done to you
in consensual sex, you should never be made to feel guilty or not good enough
in consensual sex, you should never have to expect emotional abuse, insults, pressure, guilt and shame if you refuse to participate or do as you’re told
in consensual sex, nobody should ever try to push, break, or crush your boundaries
in consensual sex, nobody should ever make you feel like you need to reconsider or push at your own boundaries
in consensual sex, you shouldn’t feel fear, not at any point
in consensual sex, you shouldn’t feel like your relationship with this person depends on what happens in bed
in consensual sex, you should never feel like it’s not okay to say no to something
if you can’t say this is true for your sexual experiences, it wasn’t consensual sex.
and this is why buying sex will never lead to consensual sex
A brave girl from Afghanistan spray paints #LetHerLearn on a wall to spread a powerful message of resistance against the Taliban's oppressive ban on girls' education.
Tumblr when I block someone it means I don't wanna see their posts anymore because i think they're annoying
God being around little kids makes me so sad for them. It's hard. Knowing how little the girls are and how hard misogyny is already being pushed on them.
Went to the CNE earlier and saw little girls still in diapers wearing hijabs. Saw a girl and her mother in burkas by the food building, trying to hide their faces while they ate while the men and boys just scarfed it all down without a care.
Saw a five-ish year old in fake eyelashes and lipstick at the park the other day.
So many little girls in frilly dresses and skirts, unable to properly play with the other kids. Or they do try and play but are immediately scolded by their parents/adults for getting their clothes dirty.
Swimsuits sold to little girls are getting smaller and smaller. They're barely functional as swimwear anymore.
Little girl in the beach town nearby was wearing a hijab while trying to swim. Probably only 9 or 10 years old.
They're just kids and already they're being told that they only exist to be pretty. They're babies and being told that their bodies are tempting to men so they must cover up. Their childhoods are being stolen because their adults are dressing them like dolls to sit on a shelf instead of kids who want to play in the sandbox.
It genuinely breaks my heart.

Help me to save my family
My name is Mahmoud, and today I am writing about my family
I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza
My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.
We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home
Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died.
The money we hope to raise through this fundraiser will go towards caring for and supporting the remaining members of Mahmoud's family, in light of the loss of Mahmoud's father. The money we collect will be utilised to meet his family's needs
The money raised will go towards evacuation fees for my family of 9 members : 4 adults and 5 children. I hope everyone will help my family, and help them receive the urgent medical care they need.
I hope everyone can help me 🙏

I wish I didn't write these words, but the heart is heavy, and the hand alone does not clap...
I work hard to raise funds for my family that touch souls that need us, but unfortunately... I feel like I'm struggling alone.
I didn't ask for money, just a share, a word, a simple support, a sense of responsibility.
But I don't see a response, as if what I'm doing doesn't matter to anyone, as if the pain of others doesn't reach.
Goodness is still in us, and I am sure that those who read now can make a difference, even with a small step.
Please don't leave me alone... Help me to help them
hi, so i'm a south asian lesbian too, and i was really excited when i found this blog. i've read your past responses to being asked about your personal thoughts on trans women and responses to being called a 'terf'.
i mean no offense when i say this, but i never felt like i got a clear answer after reading through those. so i'm simply going to ask straight-up, if you believe that trans women are women? like just a yes, or no, or maybe, since you've already exhaustively given out explanations. personally, i would really appreciate if you could provide a clear, short answer :)
hope you have a nice day
tbh, i'm a professional woman in my 30s and i find this need to repeat mantras as opposed to practising actual thought and empathy kind of pathetic.
i wasn't born on the internet yesterday. i know how this goes. "you're saying trans women are women? so then why are you saying that lesbians should categorically be able to say they aren't attracted to trans women? how are they lesbians then? aren't they genital fetishists? because they're not interested in women, just genitals? if you really believe trans women are women then why won't you date a trans woman?" it's not a game that i will be playing.
trans people should be treated in conformity with their gender identity which means societal recognition of trans men as men, and trans women as women. this does not mean our lives and experiences will be without significant differences, and smoothing over those differences and the complications posed by them is a lazy evasion that disrespects all parties.

Hello friends, I am Abdullah Salem Abdullah Jaafar, 26 years old, a graduate of the University College with a degree in Information Technology - Multimedia. I used to have a beautiful family; I’m married and have four children, and my wife is pregnant.
I previously worked at a multimedia company, but because of the war, I lost my job, my home, my car, and now I have no place to live or work.
During the war, we were forced to evacuate more than four times. Each time, we had to leave everything behind without taking any of our personal belongings.
I live in northern Gaza.
We were displaced to southern Gaza, then to Deir al-Balah, then to Rafah, and now we live in an uninhabitable tent that is not suitable for living.
My daughter Rahaf was martyred in the war due to Israeli airstrikes. Now I have Iman, Malak, Basel, and my wife is in her seventh month of pregnancy.
Please, I am in desperate need of your help just to provide food and water for my children.
I lost my home and we have become homeless."
