I’m so proud of this commission for the fanfic Exile by @coldishcase which features Vader and Obi-Wan in an ABO AU with little Luke talking to Palpatine 🤭

While everyone knows that Matthew Stover’s Revenge of the Sith is just loaded with passages with eyebrow-raising levels of obikin, nothing is better than the comfort food of p.39:

Man it sure is hard to reach to find a ship here. It’s really a stretch to see any kind of love that is more-than-friends and more-than-family, both of those things and somehow neither. They definitely don’t sound like soulmates whatsoever.

I cannot believe that Lucas went over this book with a red pen and approved every line. I know he did but still can’t believe it.

Guys, the unproduced Utapau arc is just toe to tip Obi-Wan and Anakin hijinks. It's a buddy comedy cop movie with these two idiots bitching like an old married couple for 80 minutes. I'm convinced Disney didn't produce it because they were afraid to provide just this much content for the obikin community haha

Know this: Obi-Wan says "Anakin" to Anakin thirty (30) times in four episodes, managing to make the word anything from a sharp rebuke to a supportive murmur. It's the highest concentration of "Anakin"s that exists:

There is Lots of touching, including crawling through narrow vents. Obi-Wan getting Force pulled into Anakin's lap? Canon, baybee. The BANTER is unparalleled. Anakin whines the whole time and Obi-Wan continually sounds suggestive for no reason. They CAMP and talk about Anakin's FEELINGS about Ahsoka leaving.

Obi-Wan is so annoying and impossible to please,, at one point Anakin actually says "watch this!" and proceeds to kill 14 people in 10 seconds with a blaster, to which Obi-Wan says "nobody's impressed." Anakin pouts, and then kills someone using the Force to activate his lightsaber across the room. Obi-Wan begrudgingly says "now that was impressive," which probably made Anakin's month.

Anakin actually calls Obi-Wan "Professor" at one point, causing me to almost have a heart attack (my feelings about professor!Obi-Wan are extensively documented haha). Anakin sees security footage of Obi-Wan strung up in a cell on a cross BDSM style and calls him "Old Man" with such fondness in his voice it is wild.

I could keep talking about this arc forever, it is a CRIME it never got finished and is worth watching despite the rough animation.
