yk i’m really tired of seeing people living in the west who have been vocal and aware about palestine for like … the past 30 days ? post about how they have no hope, about how they don’t think we’ll ever see a free palestine, etc. it is incredibly baffling to me that someone who has spent one whole month talking about this from their cushy home thinks they have any right to decide that palestine will never be free because freedom wasn’t achieved in that timeframe. meanwhile there are people in gaza under constant threat and attack, people who have lost their entire families and the homes they grew up in, people who have lived this and survived for decades, not just the past month, and they never lose hope. so from your position of safety and security, you don’t have the right to tell anyone that palestine will not be free just because your 30 day effort of posting on instagram did not end the occupation. if they do not lose hope you don’t get to either. this is not over just because you’re tired. the oppression continues and worsens every day. it is not the time to lose steam. keep posting. keep talking. keep boycotting. keep protesting. palestine will be free.
