Call me Relicanth or Reli or Curtis (none of those are my real name bc I’m not comfortable with sharing that but you can call me that). Why Curtis? Bc that’s my fursona! (Scalesona? Does he count as a scalie if he’s a fish? Whatever). Doodle of him below.

it's jarring specifically because it's noelle, and because it makes sense despite our usual perception of her. it's like actually gut-wrenching how much you can just feel everything that's been going on. despite how absurd the circumstances are, the consequences feel REAL. it's not hypothetical! one horrible day is all it can take sometimes! if it can happen to noelle it can happen to anyone!

For self shippers who dislike fireworks:

Your f/o doesn't judge you for getting upset or startled by loud noises. They understand that this time of the year can be rough for you and they're willing to do whatever they need to make sure you're comfortable and safe!

If you enjoy watching the fireworks, but are upset by the sounds, your f/o will get you something soft and sturdy to muffle out the explosions. That way you can enjoy all the beautiful colors with no discomfort or disturbance!

If you'd rather just avoid fireworks in general, your f/o is more than happy to fetch both of you some noise cancelling headphones so you can listen to some of your favorite songs instead! They'll also make sure the doors and windows are closed, so only the smallest amount of noise comes through

If you decide to power through it, they won't force you to change your mind, but they'll make sure you can have some headache medication if things become hard to handle. They'll also welcome you to hold on to them whenever you need comfort and reassurance!

Your f/o loves and cares about you, more than anything else in the world! Your well-being and safety will always be their number one priority. They would never judge you for needing some extra care and attention during this time of the year, taking care of you brings them indescribable happiness!
