Cats outta the bag (haha, get because the main blog is a cat), that I have no desire for Dead by Daylight as a game to play anymore. It’s lost the spark and with all these updates that pander to making the game ‘easier’ for people, I’m walking out the door. Letting it hit me from behind. So Claudette’s going to find her final resting place in the Void as I move onto other things. She may return once game retains my interest again but, being what it is, it’s not the game I started playing close to 4 years ago. Not any better than now but at least it was a bloody challenge. Good luck in the Fog; you’re sure going to need it.

In light of recent events with this whole ‘minors vs adults’, which is you know, a heated topic.

Don’t see it as adults bullying minors. When there’s countless of instances where minors hide their ages, whether for their own safety or maliciousness, that would make many adults uncomfortable.

No one’s perfect.

No one’s going to ever be a perfect example of humanity.

We’re flawed.

Attacking people isn’t kind. Talking behind people’s back isn’t kind. We’re guilty of many things in life.

You are allowed to enjoy Dead By Daylight. You’re allowed to make the content you make and rp whatever it is you rp. But in hiding your age, when you are a minor, to an adult just to get yourself metaphorically off? It puts yourself at risk and it puts the partner at risk.

Consent is one thing. The legal age to view restricted content is anything thing.

It’s about keeping each other safe. And respecting each other’s boundaries.

And some adults would prefer honesty.

Where’s the activity? Why aren’t you active anymore? Where is Claudette?!

Life’s a little crazy with all this Covid-19 thing in full swing. Places are being locked down, trips I’ve been planning are suddenly put on hold indefinitely.

I’m not going to lie, I haven’t even been playing Dead by Daylight a whole lot; the game’s uninteresting. Not to say the characters aren’t, but when you don’t play a game for a period of time, it just becomes, well not worth the time. The archive isn’t even worth my effort in finishing, because the lore ends up on the wiki anyway.

Am i still going to keep this blog? For sure. Can you still interact with it? Hells yeah. Things will just be slow, and it’s not like I made a lot of content anyway; I’m no artist. I’m a writer. And people only go so far to notice a blog that’s just about writing.

This farewell? Nah. Just a hibernation.
