This night was really turning around for claudia. Since she ran away she had a tough time. Either coming across vampires who were cruel and caused her pain or she was struggling to survive on her own as a lone vampire. Being alone as an immortal being could be such a torture. She got lucky when she met this guy.

His hand in hers made her feel more secure. A bit more safe in the world. Like he was showing her care. Even with him admitting he was cruel and vicious. That meant his kindness meant that much more. Or perhaps claudia had been through so much that any kind acts would be a relief and a miracle.

He was already leagues above her supposed fathers.

"Yup and that's not even the most I've ever eaten. Though that time I was so upset. Emotional eating I suppose. I collected souvenirs though. Fingers. Rings and other jewelry. Kept it in a scrapbook." Twisted for a normal little girl but claudia was everything but. She thought remmick would appreciate that about her.

She hummed in interest. Meeting his gaze for a moment as they continued on their path. "There must be a lot of you then huh? Are ya'll a family? Must be nice. I bet yours is way better than mine. Do you take care of them the way you're supposed to? I bet you do."

She grinned. Happy he accepted her idea. Proud even. She could be a great actress when it came down to it with humans. She squeezed his hand right back. Her little thumb grazing over his. Just the simple action of having his hand in hers was giving her a good deal of comfort. She really did need companionship.

Until the older vampire proved her wrong she had all her faith in him and all it took was that little sliver of compassion. "I mean just because we're monsters doesn't mean we have to be cruel to each other. We should save that for the humans."

The truth was claudia tended to overdo it when it came to draining people. Having the appetite of a growing girl despite not being able to grow any further than she already had. She grimaced at the sight of the puking. Not grossed out overly by it alone but quite upset the man bothered a duck with his drunkenness. She had limited empathy for humans. Animals however were a different story.

The young girl smiled. "Could I have five?" She requested with a cheery tone to her voice. Hopeful even. "I totally could. You would just have to tell me when to stop eating." Not that she could eat forever but she could get so hungry she'd eat so much she'd make herself sick. With each passing moment she felt more comfortable giving up information. Despite thinking she'd keep it to herself. Information he didn't even ask for. Remmick seemed like a good listener. Could you blame her?

"Emotional-" He laughs too loud, the boisterous sound cutting through the night and making the drunk startle and stare. Remmick goes so far as to slap his knee as they walk. "Now if that ain't the damndest thing I ever heard? Our sort emotional drainin'," Remmick chuckles, head shaking. "-but I sure can drain a drunk an' get it my cups, so why not sippin' your feelin's, little lady?"

Remmick grins down at her before his attention moves back to the drunk who attempts to straighten himself against a tree in a bid to look less shit-faced. He's failing miserably, squinting at the approaching pair of figures. Remmick raises his hand to flick him a wave, that the man returns. His head cocks, glancing down to Claudia as she talks of trophies and his family. "Reckon we should be lookin' out for one another and aye, I got a few in my family. 'Bout eight of 'em roamin' here n' there. Some settled on a farm, few moved to bigger cities to blend in," Remmick pauses, nose wrinkling while the drunk promptly leans over to retch a second time. Clicking his tongue in annoyance, Remmick frowns. "Five we can do, but I ain't keen on all five of 'em being deep in their cups like this gentleman." He scrutinizes Claudia again, considering. Maybe such a young vampire had the appetite of a proper growing adolescents, save for the fact this child will clearly never grow. An eternal gnawing hunger with no satisfaction. More reason to hate her sire for not having patience. Shaking himself, Remmick smiles down to her again. "Let's see how this goes," he murmurs down to her before raising his hand and voice. "S'cuse me sir, you lookin' like you're in need of some help there," Remmick drawls out, as friendly as you can be while stalking across the grass to the drunk. "-an' maybe you can be of assistance, too? See, me an' my little on here got ourselves turned about. You know where Baker's street is?"

"You'd do well to take advantage of that."

slowly,  the  corners  of  her  mouth  began  to  tug  upward,  defying  the  mellifluous  of  her  expression  for  one  of  familiar  wickedness,  the  jewelry  abandoning  her  grasp  to  nestle  against  her  collarbone  thereafter.  ❝   hm.  but  how  should  i  punish  you,  Родной?  something  mundane  first?  like  hop  on  one  foot,  or  fetch  me  some  water  again?  ❞  eyes  narrow  with  a  knowing  look.  but  she  doesn't  want  that.  this  time  it  would  be  different,  starting  with  something  she  knows  would  drive  any  blood  thirsty  creature  mad.

❝   конечно,  нет–  no.  ❞  she  osculates  her  pinky, not even wincing when puncturing the fine-edge of her nail to slice a slivered cut into her skin  above  the curve  of  her  neck. blood  wells, trickling leisurely across  the  most  lucent  blue  vein, at  that  sweet  spot  he  loved  so  much.  ❝   taste  here,  right  across with your tongue.  i  want  you  to  lick  at  the  pulse,  your  lips  to  linger  so  close.  .  .  but  no  biting  allowed— not  even  nibble!  ❞  she's damn determined not to forget the rules again. not this time.

"That's the one. The character played by one of them Chris actors," he adds, grinning still as Danika remains docile despite the power she currently holds over him. The last time this had happened, she'd mad him hop on one foot and fetch water then ended up grinding on his lap like a cat in heat. Revealed her hand and how much she doesn't hate his presence. Now? His little bunny is so clearly smitten. "This is real," Remmick echoes, fingers traveling an idle path up and down her spine. Eyes narrow as she echoes his earlier thoughts. "Now why in the world would you think I need to be punished? That chain is so you can bind me, given ropes won't do shit in general. One reflexive twitch an' any bindin' you got on me is shredded." He's about to continue before Danika uses one of her own nails to cut herself. A scratch, really, but the scent of her blood is heavy in the air regardless. Potent to his sensitive nose; it already has drool pooling in his mouth with the thread of dribbling out. Remmick inhales sharply at the command, eyes burning red already. "Where's that knife of yours, darlin'? Gonna tease me, do it proper now,' he growls in a voice already distorted by fangs. He obeys all the same, cupping the back of her head while his tongue trails up the path of that droplet of blood to the scratch on her skin. Remmick rumbles in pleasure, the taste of her blood the sweetest damn thing he's ever had. His tongue flattens, swiping again over her throat where Danika's pulse hammers the louded. He groans against her skin, fingers tightening in Danika's hair. Funny how she's dictating rules Remmick has to abide by himself. He knows if he ever sunk fangs into Danika proper-like, he wouldn't stop until she's dry.

He knows his memory is too fragmented for anyone to pluck anything whole from. The only way anyone gets a memory from that rat's nest is if Remmick serves it up to one of his thralls. "-but that's a difficult question, all the same. Live as long as I have an' it's the charity that'll get me in my feelin's. Cruelty? To what? Our prey? Ain't cared for them in an age. "Did get me a thrill at threatenin' your wife. Oooh, the expression on her face," Remmick purrs.

IT  MAKES  HER  HEART  soar,  skipping  several  beats  when  he  smiles,  ostensibly  pleased  with  her  gift to him.  she  observes  quietly  while  the  ease  of  each  foot  glides  inside  the  slippers,  fingers  still  linked  in  front  of  her  as  she  lets  out  a  CONTENT  breath  that  relaxes  her  shoulders.  she  wasn't  sure  if  they  would  fit,  given  some  companies  did  not  always  seem  to  match  properly  with  size,  even  though  she  measured  them  four  or  five  separate  times  while  @remmickofficial  was  sound  asleep.

❝   правда?  yes??    ❞    palms  raise  and  clasp  together  with  a  loud  clap,  blue  orbs  aglitter  as  her  beam  spreads  so  FULL  and  wide.  ❝   oh,  слава  богу.  i  was  beginning  to  think  i  would  have  to  take  them  back.  but.  .  .  i  am  relieved.  i  was  worried.  .  .  that  maybe  they  would  be  too  ugly.      ❞  a  pause,  peering  from  the  shoes  and  into  his  eyes  with  an  apologetic  pout.  ❝   . . . are  they  too  ugly?    ❞

Oh, if only he knew Danika had been measuring his feet while he was in that dark, deep place that counts as sleep for a vampire during the sunrise. He'd tease her mercilessly. Remmick will have to be ignorant of this specific idiosyncrasy of his bunny. Remmick steps back up to her, cupping Danika's chin to peck her cheek. "Yes, darlin'. I like 'em,'" he insists, smile wide and easy. Her next words pull a bark of laughter out of Remmick, smile growing into a grin. He lets himself glance down at the slippers, lifting one then the other to inspect them. "Aye, they're ugly but I think that's the fashion these days. They ain't garish like those-" Remmick pauses, brows knitting as he tries to find the name. "Them rubber shoes. The one that got all them holes the-" He snaps his fingers. "Crocs! Ain't that it?"

She was happy he was upset on her behalf. It felt nice every time it happened. She knew how her fathers looked. One for making her in the first place but also because of the various traumas they'd put her through. Either targeting her as a source of their misery or she was just a mere casualty in what is their complicated loving yet toxic romance.

When things were good between them they were really good but now everything had gone to shit. She didn't wanna return home. She didn't even wanna think about them but unfortunately they were all she could think about. She was just happy that the only feelings that were coming to the surface was her inner rage.

She felt very justified in her anger. For the ones who brought her into this world they were more than cruel. It was cruel to begin with to make her a monster and young forever. Though she grew to love being a monster. The only times she disliked it was when others looked at her in judgement. They thought her too evil. Called her the devil. She decided to take the name in stride. Apparently remmick did the same.

Maybe it was the the loneliness talking but she liked him. Maybe he wasn't kind as a person but among other vampires and around her he seemed to be. Atleast for now and if she could help it she wanted to keep him kind like this.

Her own strides were downright childish skips. The little girl excited and hungry for her next kill. "If you don't want me to eat much I won't mister remmick but I can eat a whole lot. I ate a whole jail cell full of men once."

There were other things she could reveal. How she had a very big appetite either from her father or because she was forever a teenager and was always a bit hungry as a result. As well as her habit to go on murder sprees when she was really upset. But she didn't want to say all that just yet. She liked that he was upset on her behalf of course but she didn't want him so upset that he would find her more trouble than she was worth and ditch her early.

"How about a little bit of both? We're father and daughter and we're so lost. You can ask for directions. Distract them while I go for the kill. How well do you think you can put on the charm?"

Remmick watches the skipping, giving the girl enough leeway to prance beside him with his hand held aloft. It does something to his chest, tightening about his hear with a painful squeeze for a life half remembered or one that would never be. Sure, Remmick can understand the pull to want a child of his own but vampires- Vampires aren't for such things. It would be like wishing for the touch of the sun not to char and burn. Something not made for his kind. Remmick has accepted this truth ages past. Regardless, he still enjoys in this child's delight and chatter. "A whole jail cell?" Remmick echoes, voice filled with astonishment and mirth as his brows leap up. "Hot damn, can't say I ever managed that one. Me an' my thralls emptied a whole boat once, but with each turnin' we did have another mouth to feed." He considers her as the distant drone of the barrel house grows louder with each step. Soon enough the pair is walking under an archway into the park proper. Remmick cants his head, listening for who else might be about. "Askin' directions as a lost family sounds mighty fine for a cover story to me," he gives Claudia's hand a squeeze before nodding his head in the direction where a man has stepped off the path. He's clearly been emptying the contents of his stomach directly into the pond yonder, upsetting a duck hen brooding on her nest a few paces away. "Now, how many you wantin' to drain to fill that lil' belly tonight?" Remmick pauses, giving her a hand a squeeze before casually setting their path toward the ill drunk. "We gotta be careful like on how we leave 'em, dependin' on if you reckon you can eat a whole jail cell of folk or not."

He sits there with mouth gaping, flabbergasted by her audacity. Of course, Danika would. Yet, he knows the man Siobhan knew is not the creature he is today. There's no way she'd accept him as he is now. The answer is easy. Remmick smirks wide. "Why, It'd be you darlin'."
