MONTREAL
OTTAWA
On Feb. 19th 2009, President Barack Obama visited Ottawa and made a quick stop at Le Moulin de Provence to buy a cookie. Ever since, we’ve been creating these same cookies (now appropriately called ”Obama Cookies”), with the same recipe as always. These cookies (simple shortbread in the shape of a Maple Leaf, with “Canada” written on them), represent a new era in US-Canada relations. With the exclamation “I love this Country!”, Obama warmed the hearts of every Canadian on this cold February afternoon, during this historic visit to Ottawa.
you might wanna have a look at this too!
OTTAWA
by the time we left toronto we were quite fed up with skyscrapers and the like. we had been missing the city of detroit. fortunately canada's capital ottawa and benny welcomed us with this almost unreal, picturesque scenery.
our only train ride (from toronto to ottawa). some naive europeans honestly thought that the train station MUST be in the city centre ... hello ottawa outskirts!
TORONTO
memories of toronto: fucked up hostels, urban canyons and a suite on the 34th floor.
