SHORT NOTICE

Apologies, but due to personal issues - and life in general - overstepping their boundaries, I’m going to have to shut down Renegrade for the time being. Things have gotten too hectic and jumbled, and I have to cut a few things out, including moderating this masterlist. Therefore, Renegrade RP is going on an indefinite hiatus.

I apologize profusely, and hope that you find other, more well-maintained (and more active) places to roleplay. This may not be permanent, or it may, but for now, it’s goodbye.

So, Since cyberpunk means different things to different people I'm going to ask. What kind of Cyberpunk is this world? Is it like typical Cyberpunk where it's all tech or is it something like Shadowrun where there is tech mixed with magic?

That’s a pretty good question, anon! And with that comes a little bit of backstory...

The long answer is that Euclid is generally a non-magic society. Just like the Earth that we all live on now, magic has always been a legend, but never used by the general populace. Most everything that has arisen in Euclid has arisen because of science and technology. Yes, some consider alchemy a type of science, but here it was nearly unheard of occurring in real life, aside from tales of yore.

However, with the ability to draw characters from different realms, including worlds where magic is extremely commonplace, doors have been opened to magic that most Euclideans have never even dreamed of. While still not used by most natural-born citizens, there are traces of magic and, thanks to the foreigners that travel through Euclid, it has been brought to the attention of the public.

So I suppose the short answer is that it’s a technology-only world, but with the capacity for magical interference, depending on the muses.

Friendly neighborhood Cybermod here! There hasn’t been much activity on the ML, but rest assured I’m still keeping tabs. Just a few housecleaning things:

Last night seemed like a normal night. Once more you went to sleep, passing the hours until morning when you’d live through yet another day.

Except, tomorrow might not be what you expected.

You wake up on a beach, with smooth sand and a gentle gust passing through your hair. Looking around, there’s no sign of life, or is there? Finding someone you ask where you are- Solitude. You have no idea how you got there but it’s your new home.

Solitude is a wide, expansive island ruled by 5 goat gods. That’s right, goat gods. Except they aren’t the only gods. There are now the Alpaca gods who are here to restore balance to the island, and stop the goat gods from making your life hell.

You’ll find a key and a note with you upon washing up on the island. The key is for your new apartment, and the note tells you where to go- The housing board in the town center. You’ve been placed in one of many apartments on the island, and that’s where you’ll stay in your stay.

There are opportunities to move up to higher housing, but for now get comfortable and get to meet your neighbours, after all it’s going to get boring being here a long time if you don’t make friends.

Wishful Crossing is a multifandom roleplay group. We try to take a lighthearted take on role playing. That isn’t to say we don’t do serious threads, but we like our members to feel laid back and enjoy themselves. Characters of your choice are put onto the island, placed into apartments and left to live their lives. Don’t worry about supplies, as the goat gods will literally supply whatever you want, it’s the least they can do since they are using you as their play toys. We opened at the beginning of this year, and have been growing since!  We hope to continue expanding and provide everyone a fun environment~  Accepting characters from anime, manga, video games as well as original characters!~

excuse me so how exactly are we suppose to put the grades in for the grade part of the application?? (im sorry if this is a dumb question aaaaa)

Don’t worry, there’s no such thing as a dumb question!

Under Grade in the application, you’ll just put which Grade (area) you want your character to reside in! For example, if you want them to live in a cultural environment, you’d request that they be in Crown; if they’re suited for a more rural area, you’d request that they be in Newt, etc.

There are links to the summaries of each Grade on the Premise page, so you can decide which one best suits your character! But remember that if there are too many characters in the Grade you want to be in, then your character may be sent to a different Grade to balance them out.

question! wouldn't it be best if the forms were submitted through the submit box? because the ask has very limited space and words for it

This is already on the forms, page, but I’ll reiterate it here as well:

Reserves go in the askbox. They’re very short, and only have four components to them: the character you reserve, the series they’re from, the date and your contact information.

Applications should be on a page somewhere on your blog. These will not be accepted through the ask or submission boxes. This is mostly for the sake of other RPers, so if they don’t know much about your character, they can read the background and/or personality portions to get a super quick idea of your character and how your muses will mesh!

I hope this makes more sense!
