Foleo... Please get into the car. I KNOW it's ugly, but you're dad's gonna kill me if you walk all the way back by yourself ---

               he doesn’t even give Niles the dignity of a response, hands holding tightly to his school bag as he marches silently home, his uncle  ( though at the current moment, Foleo would rather call him a stranger )  trailing close behind.  even with Niles’ exasperated attempts to get him into the car, he just keeps on walking, raising a hand to block out the sight of both him and the ugly license plate that’s become the whole reason he won’t even touch the car.

              quiet times like this have become rare as of late, with conflict arising more often than not, he appreciates a moment of respite, especially when spent with his father.  he's been quiet for a long while, enjoying the peace simply by being there, but when he looks over to Takumi, a thought comes to mind.  his hair has been long for as long as he's remembered, but it's always been the same style, never changing  ( though the different time in the Outrealms may partially be to blame ), so with a soft smile he turns and comments,   " you know, Father, your hair is lovely.  have you ever let anyone braid it?  i'm sure it would suit you well!
