headcanon. since she returned ( a matter which she still doesn't quite understand ), laura has found it hard to shift, managing only to give a flash of her eyes and, on one occasion, bare her fangs. similar to peter ( after his demise ), i imagine the process for her to be able to partially shift will take time, so she's more human instinct wise rn.
