Ok, so I feel like Ren does search Erik’s ship when he returns to Arvor, but fortunately for Azyriah, not when he leaves bc tbh Ren doesn’t see how that could be a threat to the Emperor’s security (hahahah opps)  As people though, what kind of relationship do you think these two mgith have?

Ok, so this is all along the lines of what I said to Ressa, but I think this relationship will be v complicated.  Ren is the Captain of Aram’s Kingsguard, which means he protects all Quasars and thier wives and children.  So this includes Xia, as Leck’s wife-to-be.  And like Leck is literally the actual worst so like Ren on a personal level really can’t blame her if she tries to stop him, but it’s also Ren’s job to prevent that kind of business and just...yeah smh  So he has to protect her, but he also has to stop her if she tries anything.  It’s a tough line to toe tbqh.

(Also, Lizzy, since they were the guards of the Quasars even before the revolution, do you think there’s any chance Ren and/or his father may have known about the affair?  Since, traditionally, security are the ppl who sneak mistresses in and out, stand at the door of bed chambers, etc?)

So wow.  This relationship.  I feel like this is another ‘if things were different they could’ve been friends’ but as it is...not so much.  That being said, he is responsible for her life and does protect her, but he also suspects her???  And tbh given her position, he doesn’t really blame her for potentially trying to kill Aram but still????  Ren’s job is literally to prevent that???  And he def feels for her esp given the unenviable position she’s in and still feels guilty that he couldn’t protect her first baby and so yeah.  Idek.  There’s a lot to unpack here hahahaha  Thoughts?
