Photos of my Denathrius cosplay on stage at Blizzcon 2023 last week 🥰 I absolutely love being on stage during cosplay contests to show off my art! I felt so happy at the positive reception, irl pogchamps and super kind and supportive words that everyone gave me at the culmination of this project. ❤️ im so glad so many people love my cosplay because I absolutely LOVED being Denny 🥰🥰

The Journey: Tarecgosa from World of Warcraft.

I’m so proud of this cosplay <3 It was my first go at designing a cosplay armour set by myself, mostly making stuff up as I went along! I was inspired to make this cosplay since I have a deep, nostalgic love for the dragons in World of Warcraft, and I really wanted to make Tarecgosa my own since she doesn’t really have an updated in-game model. :)(: I made everything myself, and construction took me a few months on and off with school. Materials I used are Worbla thermoplastic, foam, fabric, resin, and then expanding foam and other minor materials for the horns. All WIP and more is based on my Facebook page, Oshley Cosplay. Photos at the end by Darkain Multimedia and Eurobeat Kasumi (with my edits).

LUNAR CROW COSPLAY is Dark Valkyrie Diana

Hi everyone, Oshley Cosplay speaking. Lunar Crow Cosplay and I met online back in May and we quickly clicked as newly found cosplay bffs! Soon after acquainting we came up with the awesome idea to do a partner cosplay for PAX Prime at the end of our summers, but we were stumped as to who we should be. My passion for World of Warcraft and hers for League of Legends had us thinking about a variety of group armour designs, until Lunar Crow came up with the awesome idea to make the Valkyrie champions from League, Valkyrie Leona for myself, and Dark Valkyrie Diana for her project. Lunar Crow was already familiar with Diana as a champion but I didn’t know who Leona was at first. However, the instant I saw her armour design I fell in love, and got to reading all about her lore and in-game stuff so I could be more Leona-esque at conventions (cause you know.. photos!). >:)

These cosplays took us 2 months to make, and the primary materials are Worbla and Wonderflex thermoplastics, craft foam, EVA foam, fabric and expanding foam. We dedicated a lot of time to have these costumes put together in time for the convention, and hope we did these champions justice on their beautiful character designs!

Leona and Diana are champions in League of Legends. Leona is the Chosen of the Sun while Diana is the Chosen of the Moon, which makes them adversaries in battle. Although they fight for opposing sides, their lore hints that there be more to their relationship than hatred and a deep bond that keeps them intertwined like sisters, friends or lovers. We wanted to show a softer side to Leona and Diana’s relationship, from a world where they were allowed to get along.
