      “You’re too kind, really…!” To offer water to a stranger, what a kind person indeed! Their concerns must be because of her face’s color…Understandable. Her cheeks did tend to look redder than most due to her complexion, so no wonder

       “Please, I’m fine, I’m not as bad as I look! Thank you for your worry, but I don’t want to take you away for too long. You’ve got classes sometime, right?”

“Hahaha, I’m pleased to know you’re alright,” Now, that’s a relief - they didn’t want to push it so she’d decided to leave it at that. Laurent finishes organizing her folder, now placing it into her bag; she’s all ready! But first, she'll lead this young lady outside of the university grounds.

“...I do, but not for a few hours thankfully. Have you wrapped up for the day?” They wondered if she was new to the University, or it could’ve been because of how big the campus was? They beckon the blond to follow her after putting her bag onto their shoulder, beginning to lead her toward exit. “It’s a bit of a distance from here, but not too far. My name is Laurent, by the way, what’s yours?”

     “Excuse me! If it’s not a bother, can you please show me the way out of the University grounds?” 

She’s totally not lost; this isn’t her first time going into the University, though not in this part… Needless to say, she’s been wandering around for awhile. Yes, her cheeks a little flustered, eyes a little wide—But she’s not lost.

They had been in the midst of organizing some paper from their folder pertaining to her next class. Laurent’s attention shifts upon being called, she lifts her head up to see a sunny young lady approach her. 

“Oh! It’s no trouble at all,” She smiles, but blinks upon seeing her flustered expression. “...are you alright? Um, would you like some water? I... have some on me, unless you’d like something else.” 

“There should be a vending machine close by, I could bring you to before bringing you out of the University grounds? If you prefer?”

Can I just say that I live for subtle touches….hands swiping against each other, arms grazing, knees press against each other, cheeks brushing, “accidental” thigh swipes.  I just love the subtlety behind pushing comfort boundaries while both of yall pretend like you don’t notice. It’s really the simple things in life.
