Does Bugvox usually stay in his enclosure, or does he just hide out in random dark corners of Al's room? Would he hide in a closet or shoe, or the top corner of a four poster bed?

unless he's sleeping or unwell, bug vox is almost always away from his enclosure, alastor has to be careful sometimes not to accidentally sit or step on him, and that's how niffty found him that one time :]

its very possible to find him in the places you mentioned but usually he's next to his shark plushie or at the bayou!

since alastor more often than not doesn't feed him (usually because he doesn't find the time), bug vox hunts for his own food and he is pretty damn good at it, thought this bug had only one braincell? jokes on you! he has TWO!!!

YES!!!!!

he has a little bug enclosure (and alastor randomly found out he really likes this dumb mini-shark, so he leaves it there for him), but he always manages to leave it because the stupid creature can actually teleport out of it, so alastor just leaves it open at this point! he's free to roam around the room

i'm also taking the chance to answer this ask

cursed cat alastor approaches unknown weird thing to smell it (and maybe take a bite), unknown weird thing steps back, pulls this move and then he got startled and took it as a threat, unfortunately they're not gonna b getting along anytime soon anon </3
