Can’t risk it
I lost a few followers in my absence. But unfortunately, it may only get worse. And I can't honestly be bothered to care for those who have chosen to leave. Thanks for stopping by, and thanks to everyone who have stuck with me.
But the fact is, tomorrow I start college. I spent two blissful weeks with my love, and now I have to face reality. I am short two hundred fifty dollars in order to be even considered for a student housing room. I'm kicking myself in the ass for procrastinating, as now there might not even be a room to rent.
You could help out by checking out my commission prices here and samples of my art here. Commissions remain on emergency status. Extra cash will go into helping support the family who I'm living with. You can also check out my Redbubble and request an art piece to be drawn and made there!

Just do it.
A mantra repeated multiple times throughout his day. When he had left to get the pure white flowers in his hand, ‘Just do it.' God, it felt like such overkill. Why'd Zeke and Vera have to go and convince him to get these stupid things, anyway? He was going to have a serious conversation with those two… Especially Zeke.
In fact, the young man in the hood was about two seconds from ditching the flowers, and marching right up to the blonde’s room.
“… Lilith - hey. So… I want to take you out… Nah, what about… Hey, Lilith. How ‘bout a date?"
His pale skin became flushed, merely thinking about the concept, about having to approach the faunas, having to properly ask her out. She had been running rampant in his mind for ages, ever since their last, awkward encounter in the library. Since she had returned the jacket he still wore - it still held her scent. He was afraid to wash it. He was afraid that if he did, he’d lose a part of her that was always with him.
As luck - oh, just his luck - would have it, who would he run into the moment he rounded the next corner? His breath caught in his throat. His normally stoic expression changes to one of slight surprise, lips slightly parted and mismatched eyes wide.
His face, now mirroring the color of a beet, felt so warm as he gazed into pools of dark chocolate that entranced him more than any starry night would. He was almost tempted to reach out, deftly trail his fingers along her porcelain skin, but he was able to contain himself.
They must have stared at each other for hours. At least, it felt like hours. Time stood still - had it been five seconds? Ten? Five minutes?
“… Hey, Lilith."
That is it. That is all the hunter can stand to murmur. That is all his beating heart allows to leave, the only air to leave his lungs. He feared that if he spoke any more, the words would never stop.
What was it about the faunas that seemed to make the huntsman lose any expression he had?
✧ → Nothing in this world seemed to hold Lilith's attention for any longer than a handful of minutes. Often, she claimed herself to be in a fragile state and needed time alone. She'd fill those moments with anything and everything; piles of homework she put off, attempting to devour the latest addition to her reading list, practicing her hand to hand combat, as well as her weapons.
Despite the efforts, she found herself cutting the tips of her fingers because of her wandering thoughts-- jealous weapons, she was sure. Thoughts that would find themselves lingering in her head and whispering a name she hadn't been able to forget: Renji. Those thoughts would explode like fireworks and form heterchromatic optics that would linger on her blushing face. And cause just one more cut on her hands. All the bandaids on those pallid digits were a subtle confession to the amount of times he'd intruded her peace. Eventually, she'd given up sharpening the blades of her chakram and asked a friend to do so. Much safer that way.
Over the couple of days, she'd managed to peel most of them off. There would be no scars, thankfully, but the bandages left brought a glimmer of embarrassment. It was the same glimmer possessing her usual calm expression which caused the incident. Those dark optics Renji was apparently fond of were staring at the healing cuts when she nearly walked into someone. She caught herself just beforehand, spotting feet through those hurt fingers.
"O-Oh--" That's all she could muster, breathlessly utter before her breath caught in her throat and she was staring straight into those same eyes that'd had her reeling for ages. His voice speaking her name kick started her heart again and she managed to quickly tuck her hands behind her back, like a bird tucking her wings. Examining his face now, he was-- oh, goodness. He was blushing just as much as she was. If she turned any redder, her freckles would vanish under the dark hue.
"Re-R-Renji... I-I'm s-so so so-sorry I--" She stopped, having made the mistake of glancing to his hands. It had caught her by surprise, she should have realized the oddity to his usual attire. His hands grasped white flowers; pure, white, and beautiful. Her heart sank. She must of intruded something important. And as always, if she came to a conclusion, she'd act upon it. No matter how far fetched.
"I didn't mean-- I-I-I ho-hope your f-f-flowers are okay they-- they look lovely," She took a step back, casting her gaze elsewhere. "I-- I was off s-some wh-where," Not that she could remember where, now, "I-I-I'll be-be off." Her hands were in front of her again, tugging a stray lock. Her eyes frantically searched for an exit, though her feet were stone.

“I could be mistaken, but you might as well be lost, Miss—”
✧ → "N-no, not at all mi-mistaken. I simply-- well, pe-perhaps, along th-th-the way.. a wrong t-turn? Could... you maybe... where was it? Th-the bridge to the lower districts, th-that's where I mean to g-go." Is her stuttering response, dark optics turned upwards to the taller being. He seems ominous with that mask of his which causing a tangible twinge of fear in her gut. She's cautious about him and keeps her hands close to herself.
It takes a person who has suffered unbearable pain to recognize it in another.

"Darling, what would I do without you?" Phire examined some papers in front of her, "Yes please. Something to do with some party for one of our old friends. We’ll need a late curfew." She plucked a cigar from the box on her desk, "Hmm…I wonder if that other scoundrel after my business will be hit. Time to find out just how good he really is."
There was always a momentary joy that came with being recognized, but she let it pass quickly and gave her boss a nod. "Of course. Meredith and her group of dead hoofers are always throwing late night parties." She checked her watch, trying to remember the curfew of that one. "Ah, who? What scoundrel's bothering our boss?" And she lingered by the desk, brow raised slightly.
"I’ve got the feeling that things are going to get busy in these next few days. Darling pets, please be on your highest guard."
"Radio is confirming just that, boss. Police are looking real hard this night. I'll send some trigger men to gang up at our usual spots. We might need some baddies around the club too." She paused, tucking a stray lock behind her ear. "Shall I conspire some lie for our parents?"
Lilith can't bake. But she really likes Christmas cookies.
"COLD? HERE, LET ME HOLD YOU."
“—- O-oh! T-th-thank y-you…?" Lilith stutters, her face turning beet red as the other female puts her arms around her. She’s significantly warmer now, however…
“I-Is th— I-I me-mean… y-you don’t… mind?" Lilith hesitates returning the embrace, looking everywhere but Aine. She’d rather attempt to hide her face in her scarf.
"Not at all~" the brunette chirped back, pressing closer to share the warmth. Being from a colder climate, ‘sharing heat’ was just a friendly innocent gesture. One that she had no problem using as an excuse to her own advantage.
"Even though you are well wrapped for the weather, you still look frightfully cold."
“O-o-oh, okay…” Lilith found it difficult to respond verbally, all wrapped in warmth from the beautiful female. It took her a moment, but Lilith managed to return the gesture, wrapping her arms lightly around Aine. And she clutches her slightly, little balls of fists against her back.
“O-oh, I-I do? P-pe-perhaps d-d-d-due to th-the thinness of my j-jacket.” Which was another true fact-- Lilith still hadn't grown accustomed to the cold. Thus the foolish purchase of a jacket now far too thin. However, Aine's warmth was well worth the nervous wreck she'd become and the poor choice she'd made. In the end, Lilith found herself leaning into her a little more.
"Th-thank you... Miss Aine? Ye-yes? I ho-hope I'm saying it r-right."
Christmas ||Starter Sentences||
"Oh, my gosh, it's snowing!"
"Don't hang that there! Are you crazy?!"
"It's Christmas, don't be so down. Have fun!"
"Are you sure you have enough to buy that for him/her? It is pretty expensive, and you don't get your next paycheck til the week after Christmas."
"Care for a little bit of Christmas songs? No? Well, too bad!"
"Okay, who spiked the eggnog?!"
"Please don't act crazy like you did last Christmas... that was a disaster."
"Hey, in my defense, I had too much sugar, alright?!"
"What are you doing? Get down from there before you tangle yourself in the lights!"
"SANTA CLAUS IS ON FIRE!!"
"Maybe having an inflatable snowman next to our spiked fence wasn't such a good idea."
"We're out of cookies, but do you think Santa will settle for a salad?"
"No, no, no, you're supposed to put the lights on BEFORE the ornaments!"
"I did the star last time, it's your turn now."
"Your present's going to be a bit late... 9 months late, so to speak."
"Worst. Christmas. EVER."
"Y'know how you get a bit crazy on Christmas Eve? Yeah, don't do that this year."
"This is the best Christmas I've ever had in my entire life.."
"You missed the present-opening!"
"Time to open up the gifts!"
"You know what would be a great way to end this night? You and me, our clothes on the bedroom floor... get what I'm hinting at?"
"This is the ugliest sweater I've ever worn... I love it!"
"I just want to make someone else have a good Christmas."
"We can't really afford anything good this Christmas..."
"No, you're dressing up as Santa this year for the kids."

♆ - How long had it been since he had seen the blonde? Since is cerulean hues met with pools of dark chocolate, seen the dozens of marks across her face, the freckles that he adored - in secret, of course. No need to lose his cool.
How long since he had heard the smooth voice, words as silken to his ears, as her flesh to his fingertips? How long since he had seen the girl he had saved from being eaten? Far too long.
For when his eyes laid upon her form, by her lonesome in the library, his first instinct was a wide smile. Second, was to approach. With each step towards the girl, his confidence rose, as did another slight, warm feeling in his chest. Hands resting against the hardwood of the tabletop, he hunches over slightly, mouth ajar to speak.
“Hey, Lilith - wanna go out some time?”
✧ → Her thoughts were like the gentle river in the blossoming cold of winter. They rushed; they flowed, a strong current beneath a thin, protective layer of ice. Her mind was restless despite her exterior facet. Lilith's fine lineaments were composed to an excellent calm; ice, or even stone. The efforts were going particularly well today. Even though her eyes read the same line over and over again, she appeared busy enough in the graveyard library. She was momentarily convinced if she stayed long enough she might stiffen, turn into a silent statue that watched over her literary lovers.
It was the soft creak of her table that cracked the surface of that river, before the entire icey surface collapsed inwards. Fragments of composure gave in to the rush of emotions. Fine lineaments broke and her pallid features were abruptly ravished by the pinkish hue. The blush was so intrusive she was momentarily confused by it. Of course, it was quickly followed by her registry of his word.
Dark optics snapped from the written word to a face she'd been thinking of for quite some time. Her heart knew who it was by the sound of his voice, but she still couldn't believe who it was. He was the same in appearance-- handsome, charming with that wide smile of his. It had felt like ages since she'd last seen him. Yet hear he was, asking her out.
"... N-N-Neptu-- go out, go out, like-- like a d-d-da-date or... or something else?" She was surprised her lips could even form the words at all, that she could speak a sentence with her voice shaking so with disbelief. It was a mixture of disbelief, confusion and that small fraction, smothered beneath the previous intonations, of hope. She realized she was slouching and straightened, setting the book down. This time, she kept her gaze straight and true to his own. She might discover confidence once more in should she continue to observe those cerulean optics.
« ♥ ;; » ❝ you okay? ❞ pandora asks with a curious facial expression. so, she hadn’t talked to this other girl before, so what? she knew that the other was also a team leader. that made an easy topic of discussion. although pandora has never been great at starting conversations, she had thought for certain that she would be able to keep up with this one.
"C-c-certainly. Of-of course, I-- s-simply p-put, ah..." Lilith finds her pallid digits pulling into fists. The attempt to calm herself is futile, however, the trembling has at least ceased from her hands. It's no surprise the shy leader turns her eyes elsewhere, searching for something to stare at whilst she converses. Not that she isn't horrified by the other girl-- however, she's new and she's never really spoken to the other before so the sudden conversation is somewhat startling. Those facts alone are enough to render Lilith near speechless. Near.
"... I-I wasn't aware... yo-you were talking t-t-to m-me." The words finally tumble out, after few moments of silence. Lilith takes a breath before attempting to look the other in the eye, dark optics observing the set of brightly colored irises still set on her. "B-but, still! I agree. Wh-whole heartedly."

The inquiry is met with a delayed response. Only now does the owl realize the other femme speaks to her, and not the others within the immediate vicinity. Accordingly, Lilith gives an abrupt nod as if to diminish the visible nervousness. Difficult as it is to hide her trembling hands, Lilith manages to find her pockets, and stuff those shaking digits out of sight.
"Y-y-yes! O-of course!" A fraction high pitched, but it is a response nonetheless. She swallows, presses her lips together, and prays she doesn't appear to be a complete wreck in front of the other leader.
"COLD? HERE, LET ME HOLD YOU."
