Residential Proxy are IPs that come from an ISP! In 95% of cases IPs come from Data centers that have agreements with the VPNs to rent the servers. Apart from IPVanish that own a large part of its network other VPNs tend to rent networks. In the case of residential IPs, VPNs have made a deal with local ISPs that provide IP addresses. The major advantage of these IPs is that they will not be recognised by network administrators as a VPN user – Best for residential VPN = ResVPN
