Report: Exelon mulls Byron plant closure

BYRON - A Chicago business magazine is reporting that Exelon Corp. is considering closing three of its six Illinois nuclear plants, including its Byron nuclear towers, if the state doesn't pass legislation to help make the plants more profitable.
