Lyra laughs loudly. Okay, maybe she’s naive, but she’s also funny.

"Nice strategy! You win!"

"Friends sounds great."

Mei did a fist pump. One friend made!

"Yay! We should totally have a girl's night out! We can get our nails done and do each others hair and talk about Pokemon!" Well, usually it was 'talk about boys' but Pokemon was much more interesting to Mei.

"Now that you mention it… But hey, they work for you!" Oh, jeez! This girl’s super nice. Too nice. Lyra raises her eyebrows, Mei reminding her of herself once — a long time ago.  

"Really? What if, like, I turn out to be some crazy serial killer or something?" Unlikely. Serial killing seems like a lot of work.

"Hmmm....." Mei thought. What if this girl is a serial killer? It wouldn't be very wise of her to allow her to spend the night.

"If you attack me, I'll kill you first and drop your body off in the ocean." She said, and nodded. Yes, that was the most reasonable response.

"So don't be a serial killer! I want to be friends!"

"I guess my hair just has that natural bounce!" Lyra laughs, shaking her head. It isn’t the first time that question’s been brought up.

“I’m from Johto! Unova’s pretty far away! I’ve never been!”

"Most people say mine are donuts." Mei replied, and laugh.

"I've never been to Johto!" Mei had wanted to travel the world and meet all the people and Pokemon. "I have an idea! Let's have a slumber party at each other's houses, and then explore the region together! I'll show you all Unova has to offer!"

"Nice pigtails," The trend carries from region to region it appears.

“I’m Lyra! Nice to meet you!”

"Yours are super cute too! But how do they defy gravity like that?" Mei inquired, slightly teasing the other.

"I'm Mei! I'm from Unova. Where are you from?"

"Oh wow! Look at all the people here!"

She waved, excited by all the new faces.

"My name is Mei!" She said, introducing herself to one of the many people before her.

"Who're you?"
