Hi, I just wanted to know if it was okay to apply as both a writer and artist. If we're allowed to either draw or write but not do both, is it still ok to apply for art and writing yet be accepted to submit only art or only a story? Since I have equal confidence in art and writing and don't know whether I prefer to write or draw for this. I hope this didn't sound confusing and sorry for the long ask;;

Do the writers that participate get anything from the Zine, or is it just the artists that get stuff??
Artists and writers will receive a copy of the zine + merch and (if the zine is funded successfully) will also receive shared profits.

Yes they could be set in canon!! But mostly we are focusing on the different AU and scenario possibilities :)

If you mean the submissions for the zine (if you’re one of the selected artists) yes, the zine’s topic revolves around Padparadscha and Rutile’s meetings.

two questions!!!!! will the applications be judged based on the number of followers? and if we upload our applications, would it be possible to edit them later on if we needed to update our porfolio?
No of course not!! Number of followers does not determine your chances in any way. The most important is your art/writing.
Apps are editable, so you can update them before final submission deadline (15.09)

What if an artist would like to participate but does not have any means of receiving the money? Could they still join without getting paid if they wanted to?
If that is what an artist wants, it’s alright!. Every artist though will receive a free copy of the zine.

hello, thanks so much for organizing this! i was reading your Twitter and had a question — it sounded like the zine is going to be focused around AUs and/or first meetings? is that true, and in that case should ideas for possible entries in the application be about those things, or is any sort of subject matter accepted? thanks!!

The zine’s theme is Padparadscha and Rutile’s meeting, interwining together, being happy in an alternate dimensions . It would be good if your ideas fit into the theme of the zine! If you have any other idea involving them both, we are happy to read though!

Will zine profits be split between artists or will they go to a charity?
It will be split between artists and each of them will receive a free copy of the zine !

Hello! If we will manage to get enough money for physical copies we will have merchandise (stickers, charms, etc) as well!
There is no age requirement for applicants, anyone can apply and we encourage so!
