　 It’s not often that Yuki wears any other earrings than the ones he wears now --- he’s had them ever since Re:vale’s indie days ( he’s had them for that long ) it’s almost unthinkable that he’d wear anything else. But he and Momo have been trying out different sets of jewelry lately. Upon opening the small box, his expression changes, if, for just a moment; slightly raised brows and slightly parted as though he’s about to speak but decided not to. “ Ah, ” His expression, however, brightens with a slither of a smile.

　　 “ My, I didn’t think you’d have an eye for jewelry, perhaps I’ll wear them the next time we go out together. ”

[Momo] Yuki! Yuuuuuki!! Good morning, it's your birthday! Aren't you excited, you're one step closer to being able to drink? Ah, you've already been drinking? This early in the morning, are you day drunk already?? No? Alright, alright, I wanted to tell you happy birthday! This year I will pop out of a cake while naked!

　　 His birthday must’ve been waiting a while — a long while for Yuki to realize what day it is. Perhaps it’s the sleep, after all, Yuki isn’t much of a morning person. It’s only until Momo’s voice chimes in like bells does he realize what day it is.

　 “ Ah — “ He’s not drunk ( yet ), perhaps later in the day he’ll indulge himself with a glass of wine or two. “ Is that your surprise to me ? A surprise isn’t much of a surprise if you tell me, you know ? Fufu~ But, I am looking forward to seeing your naked body covered in cake when you do. ”

Grateful that his senior accepted his invitation to go out drinking, Gaku made sure to take him out to one of the finest bars in Tokyo. He worried a bit for the bill afterwards, but he’ll let his wallet go just this once. He justifies his splurging with the fact that it’s for his senior…

“Yuki-san, what are you going to get?” He asks as he looks over the bar menu. Sometimes, he just wanted to go crazy and try out all those fruity cocktails usually for women. His tolerance was pretty high, anyways, so it wouldn’t hurt if he splurged some more and tried them. Gaku pages through the selection, nodding thoughtfully as he decides to order a strawberry daiquiri. “I don’t usually drink these, just so you know.”

　　 After giving countless excuses — from making sure he’s not late with a new song to simply not being in the mood and everything in between, Yuki finally gave a definitive date when he and his junior would go drinking together.

　 Taking a side-eye glance at what Gaku decided to order, Yuki makes a note at the corner of his mind --- That sort of cocktail is popular among women who frequent this bar for its fruity flavor, huh ? He doesn’t expect someone of the likes of Gaku Yaotome to choose such, yet he stands correct, huh ? “ — Ah, is that so ? ” he muses. “ Then, I’ll take a Mayacamas Cabernet Sauvignon. ”
