It was a meeting like any other in his opinion, but Sougo sat and listened while going over the documents of the suggested sponsorship. It wasn’t bad per se. They have a few deals and set ups that were used in the entertainment industry. An actual business, well, not so much. Sponsorship on the other hand, well, those were a plenty.
Sougo flipped the page, weighing the pros and cons. The movie director across from him was well-known enough. Not that he ever wasted time watching any of the movies he produced. Other than his excellent film work, he had a solid work ethics and his people already dug enough to know he isn’t dabbling in any illegal places he should be.
It would, however, be a first that the other desired to seek their sponsorship when he seemed to have a fair enough connection to float by without it. It pulled his interest enough to come attend it personally. Though, now he was thinking it might have been a mistake to waste his time on.
“If this is all you needed, then please leave.” Movies were such unpredictable things. Even if he was good at what he do, it didn’t determined he would be successful the next time around. There was too much risk in having their name on a movie that could possible be a flop. “I’m sure you can find the money you need elsewhere, Yamamura-san.”
