What ships are allowed?

-any, as long as it’s between 2 or more consenting adults (one of them being Finn of course), and the work you submit doesn’t portray abuse

But what if I headcanon him as ace/aro and wanna submit work in regards to that?

-then bring it on down motherfucker, we support all positive portrays of the patron saint friendship and loyalty

Can I submit non-ship work?

-you sure as hell can!

But what if I don’t like the ship someone else is portraying?

-then don’t look at it buddy

What kind of work won’t be posted then?

-Any bigoted or hateful work will not be included, and if submitted, will be deleted.

Go wild y'all, submit stuff of your rare pair(or trio, or quartet), AUs that you thought wouldn’t take on, crossovers that would never be canon.

Submit as much work as you’d like, it will start being posted on March 20th, the start of Finn Appreciation Week. If you’d like the work to be on your blog, post it there and tag me. Hi I really liked your post about the lightsaber techniques! I'm new to the site and just made a blog, can you recommend some more Star Wars blogs for me to follow? Hi there! Thanks so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the lightsaber post (I literally just posted another meta on Rey, Kylo, and Finn in TFA that it sounds like might be of interest to you, so check it out if you like). 

So I tend to only follow other Reylo blogs (this is leftover care from very early days in the ship when we got a lot of hate outside of our own little circle; maybe not necessary any more). ANYWAY that said, some of my favorites are @toawaterfowl - great reblogs and always good additions to posts, @roxannepolice and @clairen45 also great for reblogs and additions. @sleemo is fantastic for general Star Wars stuff but I think she’s still on hiatus 😞 Honestly if you follow those three you’ll find other new blogs to follow very quickly!

You need to be a bit careful with Finn-oriented blogs, because some of them are negative about Kylo/Ben (boo!). @luminouspeanutgallery is good for drama-free FinnRey and @finnweappreciate for general Finn stuff; @respect-for-finn posts a lot of nice FinnRose stuff.

Finally, don’t be afraid to not follow / unfollow or block people you see being negative. You don’t have to participate in discourse, either. Try to stay positive and curate your own experience. Have fun!!!!

Finn Appreciation Week!!!

This Finn Appreciation Week blog maybe different than others this blog is ship friendly and any ship is available we are here to appreciate our favorite ex-stormtrooper and cinnamon roll Finn!

Finn Appreciation Week start on August 5th-11th

Guidelines:

Any form of work is welcome! Fan arts are welcome get you creativity out, writing it can be a one-shot and it can also be short depending on you occurs. Moodboard/Aesthetics,Edits and Gifs are welcome as well!

Finn has to be prominent feature in works  it can have more characters and parings but reminder that Finn is the main one :)

All ships/parings are welcome :) If you don’t like a ship I suggest blacklisting it so you won’t see the content but no harassment nor hate.

Make sure to tag us in your work @finn-appreciation  and we are tracking #finnweappreciate tag just make sure in the first 3 or it won’t show up.

I will not re-blog any hate towards the character or a paring this is to have fun and that is the goal!

Prompts:

Day 1 (Aug 5th): Jedi/Force Sensitive

Imagine Finn being Force Sensitive/a Jedi. You can let you imagination out, it can be Finn lifting rocks, meditating, Luke teaching him anything you can think of!

Day 2 (Aug 6th): First Order

Can be about Finn’s past or his time in the First Order he can even be promoted as a captain and what you think is time as a stormtrooper was.

Day 3 (Aug 7th):  Alternate Universe

Modern day, College, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Disney and any universe you can think of!

Day 4 (Aug 8th): Future/Family

Imagine what will be Finn’s future, what do you think he will  look like in 9? And if he has a family what will it  look like and his family in the last two movies.

Day 5 (Aug 9th): Friendship

Basically all the friendships he has build in the last two movies as well as possible future friendships he might have?

Day 6 (Aug 10th): Ice/Fire

Jakku, Battle with Phasma, Starkiller Base anything you can  imagine hot and cold.

Day 7 (Aug 11th): Royalty

So Finn is a royal man let you imagination run wild also who maybe his Queen  or King ;)  Also it could be reverse roles as  well a King or Queen could fall with him like I said your imagination!
