So something great happened to me the other day

I was at the mall with some friends, and a few people i hadn't met before, one of them being a few months younger than me. We decided to sit down, and I was a bit hesitant at first for a few reasons. I have eczema on my knees, and I'm very self conscious, so I rarely wear skirts- but today I had. So, I sit down next to this younger girl,and she looks at my knees, and asks what it was. Of course I didn't want to gross her out, so I just said it was a skin condition. She paused for a second, and before I knew it she was touching the large patch on my left leg. I thought she was going to say it was gross, but instead she looks at me and goes "it's so pretty!". So obviously I'm shocked, and she continues by saying: "it's like powdered sugar in your body! You're like candy." she said in the most innocent way and I couldn't stop smiling. Just the little positive comment about something I was so scared of letting people see made me so much more confident and honestly i just needed to share this.

partridges don’t even nest in trees they are ground-nesting birds therefore the “true lover” from the song is forcibly grabbing a partridge and shoving it into a pear tree as an act of domination in front of his lover forcing the natural world to bend to their will… possibly implying that they will do the same to the lover

furthermore days 8-12 the true lover “gives” the singer people?? implying that the milking maids, dancing ladies, leaping lords, piping pipers, and drumming drummers are all slaves of some sort? What kind of lover owns a lord though? much less ten of them? Like how much power must you have to not only own at least ten wealthy landowners but also that you make them play leapfrog for your own amusement? and then you can just give them away to court someone??
