My stand up comedy adventures 1#

Ive tried it a couple times so far!! There are a couple of good local comedy clubs for open mic here in Sactown. I bit the bullet earlier this month and while Anxious as hell (picture a figidety dude waiting on test results), I managed not to screw any of my lines up and I got some hearty laughs from the crowd (of about 25-30 people.) And only about 8 of those were my friends and family. I loved it!

Stand up is something I would have never dreamed of doing before (although I have an inner extrovert in me and love being on stage at times...im a karaoke obsessive for example.) My 1st comedy routine was all about the frustrations I was dealing with at the time from dateing a girl who was very bad at communicating and very un-romantic compared to me. This girl, now my ex put me through a lot of grief,confusion and bruised feelings but hey she did do me one awesome (and possibly long lasting) favor...she inspired to do stand up comedy!!!
