I am going to also try and send some memes/prompts to people to get things really rolling. A close friend helped a lot really push my muse and feelings to Briarr, along with another friend who i just info dumped and reignited my desire to write more here too so. I want to plot

"Felix!" she called out to the butler that managed and supervised the staff in her mansion when the doors were opened and she walked in with Briar "Do we have anyone working in the kitchens at the moment?"

When the reply from him was positive, yet confused, Turia nodded her head and continued walking towards said quarters. She rarely set foot there but this was an exception. As they entered, lady Sassen turned to Briar and asked "Is there anyone to your liking?"

Looking around the kitchen she spies someone who gives off a particularly enticing scent. Someone not too fatty but not too lean either. Eyes locked on them she scans the worker and nods her head vigorously waiting for the order that would allow her to feed. Despite being a creature of hunger and destruction she has learned to curb her appetite to appropriate times. As to not ruin good friendships of course.

" Can I have him? Please?? Please please please? " Finally after a few moments she tears her vision away from the worker and to her current handler. Looking up at her with wide, innocent looking eyes despite the bloodlust that patiently waits behind such soft appearances.

"Touch our pup and you die."

Naafiri's voice was a low, threatening growl. The Darkin's paws burrowed into the hot sand of the desert as they stepped over the little, confused-looking, bright crimson puppy. Naafiri's head darted forward, and their ears went flat against the side of their skull. Jagged, sharp teeth glistened with saliva.

"Now tell us why we shouldn't eat you, prey!"

Tilting her head to the side, she crinkles her nose as a few quick breaths were taken. Smelling something rotten Briar shrinks back and backs up a few steps. Something about this dog felt wrong- So very wrong, a bubbling emotion quickly boiling under her grey skin. Hunger. Feeling it awaken at the presence of this beast Briar could feel it trying to erupt.

Eyes starting to shift closer to a magenta hue. Deep within her the magic that knew Darkin all too well reacted viscerally to those who had first birthed it to existence. All the agony and pain leaving unseen scars within the being now manifested by it. " Oh- is this your cub? " Speaking slower, her voice cracks. Lips twitching out of her control to flash her own sharpened maw as both of her ears turn towards Naafiri. Focusing in entirely on them.

" You feel- familiar. . " Briar murred, avoiding their question entirely.

The chipper attitude was a tad much for Turia, but she treated the young woman with the same motherly patience she would her son when he was a toddler "I was about to get a snack myself. Come along, we'll find you someone."

Briar bounces up and down next to the woman, following behind her with exaggerated and silly steps. Being sure to keep pace but in her own unique and unserious ways. Eyes darting around the room and trying to bounce up high enough to look over her shoulder to see where they were walking to.
