Following the steps of superheros he admires, he’s last seen getting the swing of things, dealing with the weight of his uncle’s betrayal and subsequent death, and has just learned that his mother is pregnant, eager to become a big brother. He lived in an overfilled orphanage, where survival was the first and most important thing on his mind. Fortunately or rather unfortunately, he remembers most of his life, though there are bits and pieces that are unclear to Wade. It’s yet to be seen if this is part of his usual memory issue or it stems from something far deeper.

Their fake life consists of a similar childhood, although, his mother died of mysterious circumstance and his father left home and never came back one day. He struggled in poverty on his own, though eventually moved his way up from odd jobs, to working at a casino. That itself unlocked valuable but dubious alternative job offers which lead him down a path of crime. Eventually, in a weapons deal gone wrong, his luck had run out and he was betrayed by his partners and left to die, made to look like an accidental house-fire. Defying all odds, he survived, giving him a newfound respect, or fear by fellow criminals around him. Though that might have less to do with the miracle and more to do with his physical disfigurement.

He resorted to heavy drinking which eventually drove a rift in his marriage. They split, and if it weren’t for his dog Sumo, it’s safe to say he believed he had nothing else going for him.
That’s when he was assigned a Detective android partner, which ultimately turns his life upside-down.
They’d been working on a case regarding deviants in the year 2038, and had started to wonder if there was something he hadn’t seen before in regards to androids and if they have life of their own.
