a basic info + portrayal post for my muses in lieu of a carrd ( still debating whether i want to remake it or not ).
susan sto helit. a no-nonsense schoolteacher, always at odds with her status as death's granddaughter. she can live outside of time and be a little bit immortal but prefers to act sensibly. whilst saving and adventuring don't often coincide with 'sensible,' susan is, regrettably (as she thinks of it), helpful.
mainly post thief of time characterization (hogfather's just the one with the movie): someone who is resigned but committed to being involved. her relation to death (well, the personification of death) and its effects may vary based on what verse i throw her in.
maxwell lord. once upon a time, a businessman with a dubious heart. after betraying his old friends and the rest of the world in a power grab of conflicting ideals, he's back, alive, and worse than ever. mr. lord is a conniving villain with mind control powers and a moral compass incomprehensible to all but himself.
the 'jli superfan' sign should explain everything. some tentative rebirth influences because i think tamaki's characterization was hilarious. that being said, stop making him a ww villain 2k24. do not speak to me of the dceu.
marjory delaqua. a noir detective with a mysterious benefactor that gets her involved in the most ... interesting of cases. also an ethical practitioner of (un)death rites [necromancy. she's a necromancer]. joined by her partner slash girlfriend kasmeer, an illusionist mage.
completely removed from gw lore post LWS2 (and even LWS1 to be honest). you don't need to know anything. i love my extremely mediocre greatsword wielding necromantic asian lesbian cheesy film noir detective.
arani desai. a disgraced hero with thermokinetic powers cast out from an already disgraced team, who faked their death after learning the wretched truth. their hunt for the truth has since turned into a hunt for ... a better truth. goes by 'the doomed.'
i heavily disagree with most of their canon throughout all continuities. i am just making shit up and cherrypicking the rest in my beautiful mind.
theodore dumont. a city detective with a peculiar sixth sense that aids him in solving crimes. owing to his unorthodox methods, he's not well-liked or trusted, but theodore does what no one else can. he's starting to bite off more than he can chew ... will the taste of power be too much, in the end?
protagonist from an indie comic that i've decided to oc-ify. iykyk.
mary malone. a nun turned physicist who was told by the angels speaking to her from a neuro-computer to play the biblical serpent. and that's exactly what she did. dr. malone has a penchant for stumbling and hiking her way into very, very far-off places.
not canon compliant with presumed post-canon or book of dust if it will ever touch on 'our' world again - this is all for the sake of crazy crossovers through cittagazze (grand multiverse central) or something similar.
