The young Ambipom was decked out in his contest attire, beautiful golden bands secured along the lengths of his formidable tails, a stunning tiara of the same precious metal perched upon his head, nestled comfortably against the thick lilac curls of fur that served as bangs. Presentation was always top priority when you were going to make your debut in a new town.

However, upon discovering the shoreline that bordered Beach Rose Town, composure was lost, and he hurriedly scurried towards the water, making a tremendous splash as he dove past the folds of the luxurious waves. He used his tails to tread the luke warm liquid, arms hanging somewhat uselessly at his sides as he swam along, a symphony of excited cries emanating from his fidgeting figure. Several hours of grooming rendered useless. 

He floated there serenely once he had reached deep enough waters, turning his attention to the sandy shore, bold aquamarine oculars searching for activity, whether it be the inviting presence of a potential new friend or the suspicious indications of a possible threat. Or even the approach of his lagging trainer.
